Question on these multi hand games is it best to play the ten play five play or triple play. The reason I am asking is I am always in the minus when I play these games for fun or in a group challenge.

I go for the ten play but have been wrong before. Often times minus and sometimes big win. With my own $ in a casino, I more likely will play three or five play. The size of my bank roll on a particular day dictates what I play.

Last night I was dealt four 3s with a kicker and either I or the program.. (can't remember)...held all of the cards and paid me 2000 for all ten hands. (no frenzy bonus...but who cares?....)But today I was getting 22, 23 or 24 frenzy hands to play when dealt 3oak instead of the 25 hands. Maybe the bonus cuts back on the FHs or something?

The real question here is this:
If you are playing a "good game" like 9/7 Triple Double, how is the payback affected by the fact that you are betting extra AND not able to hold a kicker (e.g. 2223) when drawing trips?

Unfortunately without knowing the average number of hands drawn to, it's a bit hard to say. I just tested it for kicks on ten-play. I got AAA with a kicker, which I obviously couldn't hold and 25 hands to draw to. 4 Aces once and 4 AWAK twice! Why does this stuff have to keep happening to me on play money games!
Generally speaking though, I have yet to see a video poker game where the "bonus bet" does not up the return. For example, 9/7 TDB doesn't exist for Quick Quads because the Quick Quad bet would actually bring the games's return down!
