After the AWAK are you gonna be smoking the DDB crack from now on? Pass the pipe.

It was a rush, but nah, still probably play whatever is "theoretically the best". I'm quite versed in hitting AWAK on other games in the past. I like most VP variants (except Joker), so letting the market decide most of my game choice is alright by me. M is enough of a DDB addict for the both of us anyway.

nice job and nice report Vman......I have never been to the casinos you report mentions so i did not appreciate it as much as the vegas ones, but still, I was impressed with the AWAK  hit, and if anything, it allowed me to see that these southern casinos do perhaps have better odds / returns than AC....I still do not see them beating Vegas in the return%, and stats available show this to be true.....I wish you could somehow make a trip to the east coast, not only AC, but all the potential casinos to hit in Pennsylvania, delaware, and of course the two huge Monstrosities in Connecticut.....I guess I will have to hope to meet you someday when our paths might cross in Vegas (any chance you will be there in November?  or how about January of 2016)??It must be just me, but I did not think that photo of the steak looked particularly appetizing.....maybe it was the angle & lighting, it looked kinda small, shrunken and dried out;  I will take your word for it though and believe it was tasty.....

Unfortunately Nov. is definitely out, we're going to Disney World. Dunno when our next Vegas trip will be.

Paytables in Tunica are not bad probably similar to AC at face value. But I was extremely lucky this trip. Top multi-day trip ever by quite a bit. And I probably have made 40 or so multi-day trips to Tunica/Vegas/KC/St. Louis/Chicago in the past few years playing ~roughly the same stakes during that time frame. I would probably assume this is a top 1% result. Basically hit big when more money was on the line this trip and lose more when I was playing for cheaper. That's likely going to lead to a winner no matter where you play. Just dumb luck.

As for the steak, M can't handle steak that is not well-done, so that's why it looked like that. It did taste better than it looked for sure.

Another great trip story and pics. Even better with the " massive " wins. You beat my best day for all of 2015 by a mile and I usually run 5k-15k through the machines in a day session. You guys did great and of course I did poorly. . Also very nice of your vp buddy to treat you guys to some good comps and other stuff. Must be a very nice couple as you stated and as most posters you have met are.

Yeah, hope you can find a trip like this in your near future. We all deserve one of these every now and again. And yeah, jpw was great. Tunica treats him well (slot players usually are), and definitely gives him more than he really uses in comps, so I definitely appreciated his generosity.

yeah, my ex always gave me grief over the fact my Steak would be "mooing" as she used to put it......hers would be burnt to a crisp......I dont know how people can eat it when it is that well done, all you taste is burnt char flavor, the meat is no longer discernible. This forum needs a FOOD section, in my opinion.... other than killing time (and discretionary funds), the only thing casinos are good for is the occasional really awesome restaurant that you HOPE you earn enough comps to afford the GOOD but still overpriced food, and not have to settle for yet another crappy germ laden buffet.

You could DB start your own thread in the anything section where us vp junkies could post our favorite recipes. Some have been handed down for generations and you won't find those written down anywhere. It could be here though. Since many of us unfortunately use the Microwave a lot so we can spend more time playing vp or posting here, you could have a Microwave recipe section. I have a good one for baked apples with cinnamon. . I was thinking of one myself for good craft beers that are available in many locations, but vman does such a good job with those on his trip reports I have held off for now. One final thing vp related....I am starting to think that us recreational players have to take a shot at the tougher games with big hit possibilities anyway. Seems like if we just try and grind away all day we all end up losing anyway, so why not take the shots as vman and M did.

The more you stay the more you lose. Even moving is great. I take little solace in bleeding slowly at a JOB gone c o l d.
