Re: Saw A Huge Win Today
do not need to have a crystal ball to see that there are a lot of posters who have/are disappearing from this forum. likely a mutitude of reasons and slamming may be one of them. as far as the 'slammers' go, ever notice how few if any threads they start. i guess they get their kicks from finding some inaccuracy/wrong play/wrong machine/questionong of casino intergrity, etc, that they can pounce on. end result, less participation by posters. and, the forum turns into an infomercial for dancer. what a great forum it has turned into!NICE SLAM DUNK, NOTES

I for one, may be among those who say that video poker is video poker is video poker and geography has nothing to do with it unless we're talking its located on either: a cruise ship; Native American casino; or, my basement. I sometimes have my doubts about the legitimacy of this site though.....KIDDING,kidding, I WANT to win a contest webman so don't flip the switch until AFTER I win a contest.

Everyone has an opinion and are entitled to voice it. However this being an open forum everyone is also entitled to agree or disagree with said opinion. If you post something that you strongly believe it does not mean everyone else has to agree with you. You can and will be challenged.
Sometimes people do disagree a bit too strongly and it gets heated. Usually there is no right or wrong answer. If someone like Ko King has played for 20 years at one place and has seen changes there is no one who is going to prove him wrong. His mind is made up from his personal play and what he has seen.
If someone tells me the games are "rigged" I may not agree because I have never seen this in my years of playing. They may be right, or I may be right. But we can still debate the issue as that is what these forums are for.

galeygoo, thank you! ted, for some players, indian casinos are the only game available and indian casinos are regulated by the NATIONAL INDIAN GAMING COMMISSION. if one believes in the effectiveness of regulation, what is the difference between them and some underfunded or nonexistent state regulators? i am not sure whether i am stunned or admire anyone who can still have faith in most politicans, especially those living in illinois. kk, you can choose to believe the theorists, the math folks, the true believers or you can choose to believe your actual results. as far as the guru from vegas goes, if you enjoy 'rattling the cage', keep it up. it is apparently the only language that some folks understand. ever notice that when he posts, how often he finds a way to interject something about his blog, radio show or some other stuff he sells. maybe, a thread could be started, DANCER'S OBSESSION WITH.......DANCER. he is a self promoter, follow the money folks. case, i have no interest in you and your fellow dancer cult followers/slammers.

notes I mentioned the Native American casinos because, as you mentioned, they are the only game available. I am aware of the connection between them and the Federal government but I am also aware that Native American casinos are also signatory with state agencies where they have operations located in. I personally have enjoyed a fair amount of success in Native American casinos, namely Four Winds in New Buffalo MI as well as a couple in Minnesota.
As for the politicians; I have to keep the faith because without faith what do you have? The days of a career politician should be over, in my opinion, no long term good comes from them and the only enrichment is in their own pockets. Illinois is many months past having a balanced budget and the stalemate continues. The Speaker of the Illinois House said today that an income tax hike is the only thing that will help the state. I cannot recall hearing the word "cut" from his mouth, ever. My state is in a complete and utter shambles.

How did this thread get morphed into another anti-Dancer tirade?

i thought the entire premise of the dancer followers, of which you are a member, was to only support the facts and disparage/slam anyone who cannot prove any assertion or viewpoint they make. my statement was that your leader often manages to insert a reference to his radio show, his blog or some other of the products he makes money from. point out the inaccuracy of my statement. can you locate even one other post where someone is trying to make money off of the other posters?

I think the problem you have with Dancer is that he proves that good and smart players can actually beat video poker.I think the problem you have with me is that I don't agree with you in that video poker is rigged. I can live with that. We are each entitled to our opinions.

I can't speak for notes but my problem is that Mr. Dancer has beatable vp available (from what he says), to suggest that even I could beat vp in this area with the right info seems insane to me. Now even I understand I could fare much better if I limited my play to the casino nearest my location, but I would have to deal with a never ending crowd and all the cigar smoke, I'm not fond of either. I've went to every single casino we have in this area, located the best pay tables, took advantage of all the free play mailers and offers and only played on days that offer triple points. I still got the brakes beat off on me. Now there was a time I knew a few folks in this area that had mastered the art of beating the vp machines in this area, I was pretty decent myself. Two of the people I knew were a couple, the did much better than myself because I liked to play slots also back then which cut into my bottom line. I lost track of that couple for a few years and ran into them not to long ago. I ask them how their play was going and they said it had been pathetic, he kept a little book with every bit of information concerning his play and even let me look at it, I keep a little book myself and I wasn't surprised to see he was in the same boat as myself. Look people in this area know the vp became anemic a few years back at most of the casinos, it's why you can walk into any one of those casinos that were once full of vp players and see almost no one playing. I've got nothing against Mr. Dancer but you have to compare apples to apples. It flies right in my face and ticks me off when I hear anyone say, if you were good and smart you could beat the machines because it implies that I'm bad at the game and I'm stupid. There were plenty of players in this area that took the time to buy programs and learn the vp games inside and out, they took full advantage of all offers and worked the system. For years these plays enjoyed a bit of success, now they're no different than me. We didn't just wake up one day and decide something was different, we put in the time banging away at these machines until we just lost our faith, you would too.
