Down at one point $280 with a $300 bankroll session, then got a few
hands here and there, and, a quad deuce.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Down to your last $20, may as well donate that too. Were you up over $31 at some point in the session? Plus, how do you play 1,400 hands an hour on single line DW?

9th session of the 40 hr Challenge (.25c Single line Full Pay Deuces)=+350
Total Time so far: 14.5 hr
Total win/loss so far: +$281
Only thing better than a quad deuce is two of them. Put the 40 HR challenge back into the black and on the right track. Like I said,
VP is a fickle mistress sometimes...
P.S. Answering the previous question, in the beginning of session 8 was up $50 rather quickly, but dropped and was a steady long struggle downward until I hit a few hands and the deuces. The how did I play 1400 hands an hour? The machine I play on is super fast on fastest speed and I remember playing very fast with no breaks. But the numbers don't lie and I was a bit surprised by this and made a note of it since I consider myself a 1,000 hand an hour player on this machine/game.
Well, cheers and onward and upwards

Talk about dodging a falling knife. Good grief. I insist on the lowest speed to increase my playing time. I guess I'm a 500 hand per hour player. I now lose $100 an hour on a bad day at dollar denom, and I only max bet a third of the time maybe. $200 loss day absolute limit. I gotta venture into DW. You're having so much more fun. And depending on that JOB quad bailout is often futile. The SF and RF are of course rare comets.

10th session of the 40 hr Challenge (.25c Single line Full Pay Deuces)=+200Total Time so far: 16 HoursTotal win/loss so far: +$481After the 3rd session when I was down about $480, I was pretty sure that if the next session was negative, I was going to have to raise the white flag and admit I was not up to the 40 hour Full pay Deuces Challenge...how much things have changed. Only thru sheer will, stamina, determination, grit, blood, sweat, tears, and a bit of luck, I find myself in a $1,000 swing from -$480 to +$480. A bit early to celebrate, but I admit I like where it is going. I have no illusions that things may change again from now until hour 40, but I'm optimistic and the race looks good. I am certainly "over-deuced" at this point in the game. I was predicting about 8 quad deuces for this challenge since I play about 1,000 hands an hour, 40 hours means 40,000 hands. We get a quad deuce once every 5,000 or so hands, therefore 8 quad deuces. We are at 7 deuces at hour 16, not hour 40. Granted I may be playing even faster and don't even realize it. Last session was clocking 1400 hands an hour. Even so, 1400 hands per hour for 16 hours is 22,400 hands. So 4 to 5 deuces expected. Therefore...whichever way we dice it, we are statistically "over-deuced." Um, that's fine by me. I'm still waiting for the mack-daddy hit of course (Royal Flush no deuce). I do expect to hit at least one. Hopefully it will come, but if it doesn't, I'm happy to settle for some more over-deucing...So, is there a lesson here? Never give up? Never give in? I don't know. All I know is...tomorrow is another day, another session, and practice as we might, play as perfectly as possible with no mistakes, the video poker gods still laugh and mock us and they are the judge of the outcome of each session. We are the subjects.Cheers, go out and hit lot's of quads people.

What a profitable two hours! You're definitely playing the more exciting game. I must make sure that at least a half hour of play is devoted to DW next time. If JOB starts off bad or veers off, I'll be there too. Another RF this year may be asking too much. But a much more manageable quad deuces may be there for the taking!

11th session of the 40 hr Challenge (.25c Single line Full Pay Deuces)=+1,100Total Time so far: 17 HoursTotal win/loss so far: +$1,581VICTORY IS MINE. I OVERCAME AND PERSEVERED THE OBSTACLES! AS FAR AS I'M CONCERNED, THIS CHALLENGE IS WON! This challenge is for all intensive purposes, OVER! Royal flush was hit tonight, BOOM! Pic included. Too bad I wasn't playing super aces, because hit two quad aces in the first 30 so hands. So what can I say? Time for a buy-out?As far as I'm concerned, this challenge is in the bag. Less than one percent to give this back by the next 24 hours of play, and I'm interested in moving on and playing different games. So...decisions, decisions... I think I will make that decision at hour 20. I'll play the full pay deuces challenge for 3 more hours because I owe it that much. I'm thinking of some new challenges/ideas for myself and my videos and the videopoker blog. Not to say too much right now, but it won't be full pay deuces and may not be measured by time....HOWEVER, If anyone else has ideas, send them my way and I'll at least take it under advisement...maybe even use it.So....cheers, hit lot's of quads, check out the youtube, and so forth.

Congratulations. Banging away on a fun 98.9% game is fine for me. Hopefully I can duplicate your remarkable success. How many times have I gotten that three to a RF draw? Squandered way too much of my March RF in the six intervening months.

Nice royal sir, you envisioned it and it happened. Too bad it doesn't happen EVERY time we envision them...

12th and final session of the 40 hour challenge (.25c single line full pay deuces)=+$15
Total hours=18
Total amount won/loss=+$1,596
Playing the session today felt like beating up a dead horse. This challenge needs to close it's chapter so I'm closing it. Time to move to a new game...
I have a few options:
1. 9/6 JOB. (99.5% ER)...The least variant but least jackpot game. Thinking of play until the royal comes job challenge.
2. 10/7 Double Bonus (100.17%). Positive game, some nice jp opportunities, but hard to play completely accurate...sucks when u get the kickers.
3. 10/6 DDB with slight prog meter (100.1 ish)...my original game, fun roller coaster ride. The problem is its variance.
4. 9/7/4 triple double bonus (99.58% ER)..once again, problem is its variance.
5. Triple deuces (99.9% ER)...once again, variance huge.
6. Loose deuce (100.15% ER)....variance too, but not as bad as triple deuce.
7. 8/5 bonus poker (99.17% ER). Neg game, but earn full comps
And
Multipliers.
8. Nsud (99.78%)
Nsud and job could possibly be .50c denomination.
So that's the choices and need to choose soon as well as what the challenge is....So stay tuned.
Cheers
