Most of those losses were at dollar denom. I would have been fine with the $16 hourly theoretical loss! I was about suicidal.

You can lose $100 an hour playing max coin quarters too.  Been there, done that.  Losing is part of the game, but I never get used to it.

Jumped back on the 10/6 DDB game tonight. Hit bottom of the 9th save with aces with kicker...AAAA2. A few other regular quads and nothing else. +$100.
Can see it on the YouTube.
Not much else to add except I'd like another Royal please. Who doesn't right? We need those royals for sure.
Cheers

Losing is part of the game, but I never get used to it. ---------------------------------------------------------------------Exactly. Why should anyone here tolerate losing anything more than three bucks an hour on quarter JOB? RF ain't happening. Mega loss can be easily avoided if you're careful. My greed binge was definition of insanity. Three losing sessions in a row snapped me back to reality.  I will play quarters at the more playable casino and bump denoms on those machines when and if they get hot. Then maybe squeeze in fifteen minutes of Bet One dollar play at the end of my day.

Decided to play a very quick quarter 10/6 DDB session tonight. One hit and I'm out. Well...5 spins in and I get four deuces no kicker for 400 coins ($100) bucks. Chi-Ching, cash out. Maybe my quickest session ever. About 20-30 seconds.
Cheers

20 - 30 seconds: "excuse me officer, I'd like to report a hit and run." Congrats to you on your smart move.

A lot of video poker players would say it doesn't matter when you start or stop because each spin is independent of the next. Perhaps they are right. However, there is something to be said for being a gorilla fighter too and making a quick kill instead of the grind and off to do something else. I understand both sides of the argument. But last night, I was definitely the gorilla fighter!

20-30 seconds....hmmmm...reminds me of when I was 18. That hasn't happened in a while. WTG by the way

With a max bet Straight Flush, I am gone up $62. The need to tolerate risk is largely gone.
