Re: My Journey on Video Poker
***month in review***
First off, played about one hour tonight on the quarter single line 10/6 DDB stuff. Hit three quads: QQQQ?, 44Q44, and 3A333. Up $50+.
Sep month was very good. Mostly thanks to a .50c BP Royal of $2k, and a Royal on fpdw. Grade: A-. Up +$2,480 ish. Reason for the A- an
d not A/A+ is a few sessions of -$400 and a rough back to back loss in fpdw early in the month of -$540.
Overall, an excellent month, A-.
On to October. May October be great too. May mix it up a bit more for Oct and play a few games I don't normally play to just add spice and variety. But bread and butter will continue to be 10/6 DDB, nsud, BP, fpdw, and so forth.
Cheers

Up $2500 a straight A. You actually can laugh those -$400s off. I seek to be more adventurous next month and focus on multi denom JOB machine play. $4,000 RF the ultimate goal.

First October video poker session, and poker gods still smiling...Decided to keep on keeping on with the 10/6 Double Double Bonus quarter single line game. Long story short, flopped four Aces with Kicker, hit a quad three and another quad Aces no kicker, and a slew of regular quads...managed to run with +$1,000.Hit the quad aces with the kicker rather quickly and boom, up +500. Was going to run if it dropped down to +400 but thankfully never did. Called it at a grand up. Great start. Enclosed pictures of a flop we would all like to see. On to the next...Cheers

Nice work. Sure wish we had 10/6 DDB in these parts. The best I've found is a 9/5 quarter progressive. It's still pain or gain, but I love that 10 coin full house.

Congratulations. Good rule. Don't give back over 20%! Mild win on my 500 hands yesterday. I could have pumped it big time with some guts.

Nice dealt hit Dan. Last 2 trips to Borgata -300 then +300. Ist trip played .50 Bonus deuces, stayed around for awhile, but couldn't catch anything big. 2nd trip on Bonus deuces was down 400, held a lone duece and caught the other 3, but alas no Ace kicker. OK, cashed out, was up 100 and played 1.00 JOB for about an hour. 2 quads, got up another 200 and figured let's get out of here for the time being. In the one hour on JOB, had a 4 card royal after the draw 4 times.

Car, +$200 on dollar JOB is nirvana. Take the money and run. An hour on it seems to be the sweet spot as well. You did everything right.

I was supposed to get beaten up tonight, but.........Went today to take a pot shot at $1 8/5 Bonus Poker tonight at the local casino. Only had $300 on me, so I knew I'd have to get lucky quick...it didn't happen. Lost it almost as quick as throwing it out the window....SO....what did I do?I went to get another $400 and try again. However one of the $100 dollar bills wouldn't work, so just did $300...and....boom, nothing! NOTHING! Lost it almost as fast....So I figured at last the video poker gods are finally getting there's and that's that. Took my last $100 and played full pay deuces on the way out the door to hope I could maybe make up for some of the loss tonight...AND...BAM, Royal Flush. Wow, within the first 10 minutes I'd say. So once again cheated death as I pull one out of my sphincter and up +$300...wow, on to the next....Cheers
