Re: VP questions
I have Jean's first two books and have been to dinner with Jean and Brad (comped, of course). She admits she was probably a little on the obsessive side when she first got into coupons, etc. However, that obsession has led to a very lucrative career as the "queen of comps".

yes she has helped the public whom was willing to accept her wisdom. she has saved many people from major losses without the casinos cutting out the full pay games to the detriment of us solid players unlike dancer who you see every tourist looking at his stratigy cards on many games. that is why casinos such as coast casinos removing the tito fp deuces and 10/7 db games. caesars used to have nsud dollars to run off points along with 9/6 jacks making the maintainace of diamond card for room comps less expensive. i would like to meet Jean. I believe she is very nice and sharp in common sence

Just a question about the reply-stated that changing machines will not change your luck??A machine hits-meaning that say every 40,000 hands a royal-with that said if a machine has not hit in 39,999 times aren't you odds better that you might get the royal or is it that if you go to a machine that has not hit a royal in 39,999 time and you start playing you will have to play about 40,000 hands befor you get a royal-meaning about 79,999 hands. Just some thoughts..

VP machines use a random number generator to determine every hand (see the thread on RNGs and ask if you have any questions). The odds are exactly the same every time you hit deal. You can have RFs on back to back hands and you can go way over 40,000 hands without one. Moving machines is a personal choice but it does not change the likelihood of any particular result.

I found out about this site from reading a post on Linda Boyd's web site. Their forum is also free and it's called "Boyd's Eye View" of Video Poker. If you have any video poker questions Linda Boyd answers all of them herself.
You go to www.LINK NOT ALLOWED.com and join by pressing the "Boyd's Eye View" picture above her article.
Linda's my favorite expert. I have her new book book "The Video Poker Edge" and I consider it the best one out there. I use her free strategy cards that come with her book when I go to the casino. My results are much better. Desert Flower

OOps! Sorry you erased the link to Linda's web site. (I didn't know it wasn't allowed, but it makes sense that you don't.) Anyway, go to Midwest Gaming and Travel's home page using any search engine. I've learned a lot from Linda Boyd's articles and book!! DF

Just zipped over there to check it out, and i was the only person logged in. It's not getting any traffic. Somebody e-mail Robbie with the good news that a new forum has appeared(don't know for how long though).
