Thought it was more geared towards people who are considering visiting casino for a vacation and being reimbursed/compensated for their play. Though they're expected to lose playing at a casino, the article talks about they might as well consider slots to get more of their expenses compensated since VP tables are becoming poorer and nearing slot payout, at the same time its viewed at a much lower theoretical loss. Another option is they can not gamble and pay full price at a casino resort for every goods or service they get, there is no rule against that.
Outside the casino/gambling realm, if anyone knew, I would like to know what can I do and where I can go for a vacation where I could come away with profit while enjoying my time. It seems many "crazy but normal" people around me are willing to spend thousands of dollars on rest and relaxation. Collecting sports memorabilia items and comic books are the only things I can think of.

Gambling should be considered as recreation and nothing more. Professional gamblers might make make money at the game, but it costs them in other ways. It doesn't matter what you play as long as you keep it in the right perspective and enjoy yourself.

I ask a few years back why there wasn't one single casino in my area with positive expectation games, was told it was against state gaming regs. Good news is the weathers warming up so I'll be spending more time golfing and fishing, caught my first bass yesterday.

I'll check it out, I love to fish period. I'll be heading out to Santee Cooper in S.C. for some cat fishing soon, this time I'm going to go after bass also as I've been told they have some monster bass there.

Oh he was a little guy, maybe 2 pounds so he got tossed back, it's going to take an 8 pounder or more to get kept and mounted. A lot of folks around these parts don't eat bass, claim they don't like the taste. Last year we had a fish fry and I didn't tell anyone that one pan had cat and the other bass, same people who said they didn't eat bass were attacking the pan with fried bass in it.
