DB, remarkable AC VP consistency. You again averaged a numbing $45 hourly loss. Did you deescsalate to the quarter denom at any point? I have never played at Taj. It sounds as bad as Last Resorts, and they squeeze players like oranges at Tropicana. I certainly never get a sense of instability on the Marina. Talk about a Tale of Two Cities!

Talk about a Tale of Two Cities!i did not "descalate" because in fact, I never (or almost never) pplay anything except 25 cent denom. For the record, this was the LEAST video poker I have ever played in a AC trip lasting 3 or more days/nights. the four hours or so that I played seemed like a brief blip in the total scheme of things, which kinda makes my rate of loss (about 45 bucks per hour) all the more annoying.Folks, especially all you persistent DOUBTERS, video poke rin most AC casinos is totally "OFF" from what we have come to assume and expect is the norm in terms of how VP is supposed to work (and apparently DOES work) in Vegas

I'm on your side. Quarter denom is definitely the prudent course of action in AC. My pattern over eight months: seldom lose in the Marina, seldom win on the Bermuda Boardwalk. Bankrolls are never seen again. Good memories had receded, replaced by an entrenched pattern of losing. It may have been too much of a hassle for you to escape the area. I vote with my feet, and the town jitney.

db, good concise report on your trip. i am always a fan of full, net results. this was the best money report i believe you have made about AC, that i can remember. you have made the necessary adjustments to adapt. i'll skip by your statements about republicans, i have avoided mentioning politics for quite a while. as far as the state of the casino industry, i made mention of something i read, that you may have missed. we are all aware that slots has been the big revenue producer for casinos. over the past 10 years, with hundreds of new casinos opening and tens of thousands of new slot machines, slot revenue, on a national basis, only increased 1%. if COKE were to increase vending machines by the tens of thousands and coke sales only increased 1%, it would serve as a dire warning to investors. in that same article, payouts also decreased by 14% nationally. folks are adapting to lower payouts or quitting playing altogether. unless the economy starts picking up steam, it would not surprise me to see consolidation/closing of additional casinos in the near term.

It would merely present some minor inconvenience to me if Bally's AC were to close, per recent rumors. Financial impact would be devastating.Anyone, I need an intervention. I must be accountable to someone if I stay in a boardwalk casino beyond the free play usage time. It is always, without exception, a massive loss incurred. In a word, HELP. My willpower has been breaking down again.

Got crushed at the Borgata last Thursday afternoon. 4 Hrs of play, one generic quad on .50 SDB, no quads on 1.00 JOB. Need a royal or two to get back to even for the year.

Good luck and be careful doris; watch out for those Boardwalk Lothario's cruising around and don't let them pickpocket you either.

Car, how much of the four hours was JOB? What was your loss if I may ask? I want to keep tabs on what risk I may incur at the place. Sorry you had an awful day.
