Off to Cherokee....again.

Just returned from Cherokee.  Nothing great to report, but a good time was had by all.  We noticed the quarter odds have been downgraded again since our last trip in 2014.  The bank of 9/5 DDB machines in front of the food court are now 8/5.  The good news is they have Airport Deuces starting at .50 and up.  This is a casino where you really have to scout the machines.   There are some sit down machines in front of the center bar with 6/5 Jacks and the worst deuces schedule I have ever seen.  Just around the corner are the good deuces machines, so go figure.  Anyway, the casino is nice and the video  poker is not all that bad if you watch your losses.  I wish they would get a better restaurant.  The Brio is not one of my favorites.

Thanks for the report, with that said, it is almost pointless for a serious VP player to go there to play anything other than the $5 games.

Not many (including myself) can afford to play for those stakes, so I will not think about going there.

A good time by all is what it is all about Phil and Mrs. Phil for us recreational players. If we win, great. If we keep what we win, so much the better. The point is to relax and enjoy your partner's company or the folks you may meet up with. The rest of the stresses in life seem to vanish for awhile at the casino. If all of the above is not the point, then what is the point?....
