If you think about playing in most Indian casino, punch yourself in the nuts and set fire to half your money. You'll end up with better results.
I've been to a couple of Indian casinos and I was told they had class III vp, I know I saw the IGT logo. Now why would an Indian casino treat their customers any different than any other casino. What's the line the true believers swear by, "why would they".
good question, kk!
the believers and the poster who made the comment is one, tell us all the time, the casinos do not need to cheat us. they can simply change the payouts/odds.

The Florida Hard Rock casinos where we play most of our VP are owned by the Tribes. The odds aren't Vegas, but they are reasonable especially if you can play a little bigger than quarters. I have never doubted the fairness of the games in Florida. We also play in Black Hawk CO and occasionally in Cherokee NC. Like Florida the odds aren't Vegas, but the games seem fair. Players have been complaining about AC video poker for years. Some of them are pretty convincing. If it were me, I would avoid any casino where I had the slightest doubt in the fairness of the games. We feel the same way about the Beau Ravage in Biloxi and will not return. Not only do we have doubts, but the Mississippi State taxes on hand pays are ridiculous. Buyer beware...

You're doubting the games at Beau are fair Phil? Why would they offer horrendous paytables if they weren't fair? A fair game of 7/5 DDB or 94.82% Deuces Wild will often lead to very poor, but still fair, results.
Agree on the state tax thing though. That makes MS rough on non-residents.

Without any offense, I think Phil is very biased towards what is available for deuces wild at quarter denominations when it comes to casinos.
Geographically Biloxi and Tunica are in the same state of Mississippi (but far apart), I have yet to see Mr. Dawes who plays in the Biloxi region make complaints about the fairness of video poker.
About the taxes, it seems like the top game listed on most of the vpfree inventory on most Tunica casinos is $1 DDB and up. It will scare me off from considering playing there when 2 hand outcomes (RF and AWAK) are affected by the tax.

At least John R hit a good one recently as of two months ago. This hit trumps the quads...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AfamHV2vfZAresults like this is evidence that they RIG, or screw with, their machines! seriously, in less than 90 minutes he has all those premium hands, while many other players who play thousands of hands report abysmal results. The theory is that a casino that rigs most of its machines to really clobber players has to have a "FEW" machines out there that are tilted in the GOOD direction so that the casino can in fact make a valid claim that "SEE!!! Our players CAN and DO win here on out machines!" <Indian war cry> Hoika Hey! Hoika Hey! Ulululululu!!!!!

abysmal results.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I just had a Caesars flashback. Sunday a woman hit a Straight Flush and three quads in less than 90 minutes, on a machine I gave up on after a measly two coin quad. Chain smoked her stream down to hapless me at other end. She caught the wave and rode it to $156 of premium hand glory.

It is quite possible for anyone who plays capably to have a run like that. All but one of them, the aces, were just ordinary quads. I think olds and the Mrs. can pull it off if they go completely to DDB, I pulled it off before. As I expect with any DDB player, every non-premium quad they hit goes back into the machine rather quickly, the only profit the guy made was the quad aces at the end.
