Re: VP questions
Just a question about the reply-stated that changing machines will not change your luck??A machine hits-meaning that say every 40,000 hands a royal-with that said if a machine has not hit in 39,999 times aren't you odds better that you might get the royal or is it that if you go to a machine that has not hit a royal in 39,999 time and you start playing you will have to play about 40,000 hands befor you get a royal-meaning about 79,999 hands. Just some thoughts..
A better way of thinking of it is that a player will hit a Royal every 40K hands (on average), regardless of how many different machines are played along the way. It's due to all the different card combinations in a deck of cards, and not to anything special inside a machine.

I'm going to Tunica in a couple of weeks and I've played just over 38,000 hands without hitting a Royal!

Somebody e-mail Robbie with the good news that a new forum has appeared(don't know for how long though).
Was that cynicism (sp?) or sarcasm? It suits you! I saw some quite civil postings from him, as long as the word "random" or phrase "long term" didn't enter the discussion.

(Laughing) You sound like me - "don't want to waste any Royals on the PC, when I need to hit them for real". Good luck on your upcoming trip.

If only we could control when and where our good fortune would appear. For awhile I was finding that if I had good luck practicing on my computer then it would transfer to my play for the same day. But, like all random events this pattern soon disappeard. If only random weren't so darn random.

I could learn to hate random. Not a big fan of the Chaos Theory either.
As smart as we all are, we should be beating the Bee-Jeesus out of these casinos.
I had a Royal on DDB practice last week, now I'm worried.

If they are serious about VP as an AP they will figure us out fast.
I would hope they would get one of the VP Trainers, read all they can on VP , have an open mind and have great luck.

You mean like ... if a butterfly flutters just right in Argentina you'll hit a dealt RF on a multi-play machine? All this science stuff is giving me a fron-ache.

No, no, no..... If the butterfly flutters just right in Argentina, you'll hit quad aces w/kicker on a $25 machine. You're slipping a bit, shadow.
