So if I take a picture of the screen I will just be subtle about it. That's all I would want to do I think and hopefully they will not mind. People here have posted them.  Are those all cell phone pictures or cameras?

People here have posted them.  Are those all cell phone pictures or cameras?I think most are from cell phones with cameras built in.  Not too many cell phones have flashes in them.  And, though technically, cell phones are not supposed to be used on the gaming floor, I've never seen that "rule" enforced in Las Vegas at a machine.  They will make you withdraw from the table if you are playing Blackjack but only as long as you are using the phone. And, I seriously doubt that they would object if you were to take a picture of the screen of a winning hand as long as it was done in a way that wouldn't capture the image of anyone else in the casino.  Better to just sort of sneak the picture as you said "subtly".  You can get a decent picture of a screen without a flash.  Experiment by taking no-flash pictures on your computer monitor.

I think cell phones are OK in the casino, that's how the wife and I find each other and I have never been asked not use it.I do know they are not allowed in to be used in the sport book area because one time I did get a call and was asked to move out to the casino floor.

Remember to tip the waitress who brings your "free" drink. A dollar a drink is the usual. That's the way they get paid and if you want more than one drink.....you better take good care of them.
Also, somebody mentioned they wished that the Hilton had computers to use. Bring your own and patronize the coffee shop on the main floor. WiFi is free there and very popular in the mornngs and evenings. Otherwise, most ALL the hotels charge a per day rate to use their internet connection. I HATE that! Grrrrrr.

the sports book section forbids cell phones but every place else you see them in use almost constantly. Of course if you are playing a table game like blackjack, then courtesy dictates that you step away from the table while making a call. I've only seen one guy get asked to take it else where while playing blackjack. He was talking loudly and disturbing the other players.

You may want to check out vegasresource.com.  Click on coupons and it will take you to hundreds of coupons, some are good for $10 of play when you join their player's club.  I got some that were good for 2 for 1 buffets at three casion's in downtown Vegas.  You can only use these once.  Others are good for 2 for 1 shows, free deck of cards/dice, etc.
I found the site a couple of months ago but forgot about it until 3 day before I arrived.  They have a express delivery that cost $10 to have them delivered to you hotel there.  I figure we still came out ahead.
Good luck.

Eduardo,All your  proud VP Mommies and Daddies are watching their little guy going off to his first day at school.  Of all the advice you've been given, I think the most valuable is probably "just take it easy".  Go find the player's club, (you may have to ask for directions) and check out the place.  BTW, the Hilton has a really neat StarTrek  area, and the pool is like on the third floor.  Keep your gambling $ in your pocket and just enjoy the experience, THEN look around for a machine to play and have some fun.
