But Democrats will still be in charge of those cities, whether we vote for Biden or Trump.
Is the argument that Biden won't stop the violence in Democrat cities? Because Trump hasn't stopped it either. Not that he hasn't tried. But he has been ineffective in doing so.
Seems like the message is simply fear-based. Be afraid of Joe. His minions will kick you in the head.
Which of course is absurd.
I think it could easily be argued that there will be fewer violent protests because: 1) Democrats are more likely to stage protests that turn violent 2) They are less likely to protest if Trump is not in office.

Eduardo it is also a bit absurd to think that President Trump being in office is a main reason for what is (and has for longer than he has been in office) going on in Chicago.

No, definitely no reason to blame Trump there. I think that's a very different situation that what is going on with the protests. And I also don't blame Trump for those. I just think they wouldn't be as likely to happen if he was gone.

What is absurd is people thinking the Federal Government sending in three hundred agents is going to stop what ten thousand local cops can't control.

Actually, the Chicago Police Department is comprised of just over 12,000 sworn officers. As for what else you wrote, some things can be controlled once the police have done their job and turned criminals over to the local Cook County justice system. The democratic Cook County State's Attorney needs to start prosecuting instead of dropping felony cases, many of which include gun crimes, repeat offenders, crimes against women, and a host of other violent crimes and not just drug crimes. The current Mayor of Chicago could be 10 feet tall and she'd still be in way over her head. Someone recently asked me: "how could she lose control of that city in just the short time she has been mayor" and my reply was: "how could you lose something you never had?" The morale of the Chicago Police Department is at an all time low and there will be a mass exodus within the next year.

She looks as bewildered as the Minneapolis Mayor.

eduardo, i don't know if you know this, but there are a whole lotta other folks who will be elected in november? and, many of those folks make the decisions on what happens in every town, city, county and state.
potus can't just decide to send federal folks into a city, and trump is limited. clearly, you are smart enough to know that, right? potus can't just send troops to attack some place he disagrees with.
a wise a$$ question deserves a wise a$$ answer.
obviously, you despise trump and will not vote for biden. and, no reason given...

i guess i am a little surprised that there is not a single comment about the scumbag who kicked a helpless person in the head. is this just a daily occurrence, if so, we are in big trouble.
make no mistake, the cops in NYC, minn, portland, seatlle, chicago could clean up these places, if the DEM administration of each city/state let them and had their back. they don't need fed help. they need dems thrown out.

eduardo, you are so good at asking and answering questions.
why is it that the video that shows the beating of this man, will never be shown on CNN or msdnc, why???
the video of the cops kneeling on the poor guy who died in minn, has been shown on fox , hundreds of times. why won't WAPO cover this story? why won't nytimes make it front page, like they would if if it was a minority getting beaten up.
b/t/w, the guy is still in the hospital., no one has been arrested. many know exactly who did it.
c'mon man, where is the smart reply?

Lori Lightfoot, current Mayor of Chicago, was appointed to the Chicago Police Board by then Mayor Rahm Emanuel. Rahm as you may remember, served on the staffs of both President Clinton and President Obama. During Lightfoot's tenure as President of the Police Board, the board terminated 72% of the police officers brought before it. Later Emanuel appointed her to the Police Accountability Task Force and this group was highly critical of the Chicago Police Department. She has also failed to nail down a new contract with the rank and file Chicago police officers. It is absurd to think that she has the back of the Chicago Police Department. She is listed as being 5'5" tall but that is a, excuse the pun, "a stretch." She is really much closer to 5'0" or 5'1" tall but because of her partnership at a very well known law firm in Chicago she is quite a bit taller when standing on her wallet. There is a picture of her standing with Ivanka Trump that is just too funny not to giggle at.
