Next Contest?

I enjoy the monthly contests.  Wouldn't want to see them every week though.  I'd never get anything done around the house. 
I would like to see a contest where our score is an average of our five highest games.  The dealt RF's & 4 aces/k wouldn't carry as much weight.  I have had a few decent games but can't get that RF dealt that  would get me a HAT or T-SHIRT.  Oh well, maybe someday.....

I would like to see a contest where our score is an average of our five highest games.  The dealt RF's & 4 aces/k wouldn't carry as much weight.  I have had a few decent games but can't get that RF dealt that  would get me a HAT or T-SHIRT.  Oh well, maybe someday.....It would be better if everyone could qualify on the basis of something like  their 5th highest score.  If it was the average, the dealt royals would still weigh enough to make the difference.However, for some reason Webman has stated in the past that they want every game to have the same chance at being the one to win.  Unless they remove that goal, don't look for it to happen.Just using something like the 5th highest would change the dynamic towards skill but wouldn't produce the same astronomical odds level of scoring.  It also would discount it when you finally were dealt that royal.  Those people might feel like they were cheated.  However, there are so many contests, I'm sure they could deviate once in a while without critical damage.One things for certain.  People will keep clamoring for more contests...and some people, possibly others, will keep complaining about the format or game choice while the contest is going on.  They are free, after all!

The next contest will begin on Friday, April 23rd at noon pacific. The game is still to be announced.
