Just finishing up one of the final trials. Back from another one last night. This time, the punishment was more severe. Only one quad deuce in 34,000 hands and no dealt good hands like wild royals to take advantage of the 5 line spin poker. Of course no royals, nor did expect any. Add another appx 34,000 hands to bring the new total up to 434k. This time while chatting with my friend at the concierge desk, I saw people filling out complaint forms. They came from the high limit area and were complaining about the horrible slot returns. Most of their friends had already gone over to Foxwoods. I don't know the details, but there were several of them. My new total is about 425k hands give or take. This time it was take for sure. That leaves about two more sessions to complete everything. I am not sure if I will be filing a complaint myself, but I can document everything and of course, all of my recorde are in their computers. So much for 98.8-99.5% returns. The question is there anyone to look into it, or does nobody care since the more I and others lose, the ore revenue the State which is broke gets. Last I heard over a one billion deficit and of course Ct is supposedly one of the richest in the nation. Comes down to the usual over and wasteful spending by the administration. Corruption most of which will never be known. Nepotism, favored contracts and on and on. I don't have to tell anyone which party is in power here. I blame the citizens themselves for not getting more involved and voting these idiots in in the first place.

Olds, those are shockingly negative results. Not beyond the realm of possibility, but terrible none-the-less. Sounds to me like a change of venue is in order. I recently made the decision to drive 3 1/2 hours to Hollywood and skip Tampa altogether. So far, it's been worth the effort.

I will be on my way shortly to Foxwoods after I finish my 500k trial which is about over and also do a scouting mission on the machines there. Unfortunately, for now, I don't have the opportunity to travel long distances due to the family situation, so hopefully, the extra 20 minutes to Foxwoods will change my luck. I will never know if this is bad luck or something with their machines, but like you said, a change of venue is in order. Funny, I have been playing a little Wolf vp on my computer. I have it installed and don't even have to be connected to the internet to play it. I for now am just playing the same game 5 line Bonus Deuces Wild with the 98.8 percent paytable that I also was able to create myself through the Wolf software. The other night after playing just 20 minutes on Wolf, I hit a Royal on the bottom line by drawing the king and ten of spades. If I remember, that is what you needed and got for 4k last week or so. I just thought that was funny. I save the game so when I go back and play wolf again, I start with my same credits as when I left off. That way, I can see how I am doing compared to the casino. So far, it is like apples and oranges with the casino being the rotten oranges.

I would never play that game for real money, but for free why not? I hit a royal yesterday and have been doing pretty well overall. Playing against other players on this website is a hoot and well worth the Gold fee. No driving required...

Sounds like >$500 loss. Brutal for the sake of wrapping up a trial. I'm determined to play a little more $1 VP following my modest success Sun. Itching to achieve the coveted $4,000 RF. $2,500 net taxes I imagine!

500x2 FAA. I expected no royal, but not one quad deuce in over 30k hands never mind the lack of 5 aces and 5 of a kinds. This was not a failed discipline session either. Very expensive lesson that borrowing from Phil again, In vp anything can and will happen......I am going to see how to add this phrase to my posts when they come up. " In life, there are two guarantees. In video poker, there are none. "...Olds...

Back again from what may be my last or next to last session. This time, after the beating on the last session I played the three cent spin poker machine with the same game bonus deuces wild. It is a good thing I did and I still took a beating again. Add another 27k hands which will bring me close enough to the 500k royalless mark to just say forget it. no quad deuces at all and of course no royal. Tbe session between last night and this morning was about 9 hours. There was one nice thing on this trip and I really didn't get to enjoy it. I checked in really late since I got up there late as well. I played several hours and finally checked in at about 3 AM. The rooms were all gone so they gave me one of the suites the celebrities stay in. Absolutely beautiful. Too bad I was too tired to really enjoy it and after just a couple of hours sleep, I was back to finish up the play for a couple of hours more. Then back home for the usual family commitments. I'll catch up on sleep tonight and think I will skip going up tomorrow. I have tickets for what should be a really good show on Sunday with the Midtown Men of Jersey Boys fame.
The bottom line is I don't know if all of this is really bad luck or something else, but I have had enough. I still really like Mohegan Sun overall and have made many friends up there with the staff and patrons too. Most of the patrons are gone now though. Hmmmmmm. That should tell me something right there. I don't know if they are at Foxwoods or not, but I will soon find out. Three 500k royalless streaks is just too expensive and weird for me.

Finished up the last session of the final trial and have now exceeded the 500k mark without royals once again. Same game with a little job thrown in at the end. Hit quad deuces, but not enough to prevent a session loss. This Wed evening, I am planning an overnight at Mohegan, but it will be just a jumping off point for my scouting mission at Foxwoods, to dine first at Mohegan, and to catch up on some visits with what few die hard vp players are left and ask them about their royal results as well for 2016. If I get answers from them that are similar to mine, there will be no question in my mind that something is wrong with the vp machines and they are not random. If their results are within the norms, then I will chalk it up to just my bad luck. I will say, I haven't seen any hand pays up there in my last 3 sessions and they all have been Marathons. I talked to a few slot attendants and they all said they are starving. ( no tips due to so few hand pays. )

I don't know the class machines over there, but in Vegas I'm comfortable with the legitimacy and random number generators. Having said that, I too am royaless entering my third Royal cycle (120,000) hands on single line machines. Yah, it's a bummer. But I think we have to be careful to a. Look for patterns when there may not necessarily be any, and b. Be results orientated in short term play. And yes, I fall into those traps sometimes as well. When I ran lousy in 10/6 DDB, I took a break for a few months then got back into it fresh. I recommend it for those who are tilted and don't feel fresh but beaten even before they arrive in the casino. The games will always be there. Vacations are important.
