5 hours on my favorite QQ machine. I got up to stretch
my legs and this woman jumps into my seat, mind you I'm standing right
there. Said excuse me but my card and
money are still in the machine, she screams that I have been playing all
night and I should let someone else play.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I thought the Harrah's crowd was more sophisticated than this shrew. My condolences. How clueless not to notice both a card and money in the machine, with their owner adjacent. I would have threatened to call security, my knee jerk reaction. What a bizarre incident. I can't fathom five hours on a machine, but that's besides the point.

Quick story about the watchers, couple weeks ago at Harrahs AC I was into a very long [for me] session of about 5 hours on my favorite QQ machine. I got up to stretch my legs and this women jumps into my seat, mind you I'm standing right there I didn't go for an extended walk. Said excuse me but my card and money are still in the machine, she screams that I have been playing all night and I should let someone else play. I gave her the stink eye and she got up and left.

 she was an idiot!

Is there only one unit left? Even though you were there first, it would sorta suck for her after the 5 hour point if there wasn't another machine at all. Although she shouldnt have touched the machine with money in it. I done it on accident once before though.

Also one of the machines I played at MGM Grand this past week was a solo. It was available when I tended to want it though, with the Double STP next to it for my g/f to play at. Given my results on it though, I sorta wished it was occupied instead!

There was another unit at Rampart that only had one game of something I haven't played in ten years. It was occupied. But he got up after my 2nd look around fortunately, otherwise I would possibly asked how much longer he planned to play.

Generally speaking, when someone bugs me over something (one dude did this trip), I gracefully try to bow out.

If that happened to me and it was a guy, I unfortunately would have risked both a fist fight and probably getting banned because my response would have been....get the f out of my seat you a..,h...Excuse the French, but that really burned me up. I understand Webman if you remove this post.

Well, Ok Vman...if it was you I would have just cashed out, asked you to put in a twenty with mine and split whatever happens for the next few minutes, and had a couple of beers while we were at it. forgot to add the icon...

The ones I really love are those who jump on the machine while I'm stretching my legs that's "locked up" while I'm waiting for a hand pay.

Why am I not surprised you knew this?!?!Well you are 100% correct in that the ORIGINAL KKK was indeed founded in the home town of its first and most celebrated leader, the great confederate war hero, Lt. General Nathaniel Bedford Forrest (Forrest Gump's ancestor).......arguably the single greates TACTICIAN during the civil war ....all the more anazing given the fact that the guy never went to West Point, never even made it out grade school, but had a natural intellect that, sadly, was used to build a fortune before the civil war trading SLAVES. Indiana is known as the birthplace of the MODERN Ku Klux Klan (around 1920), and I made the error of not defining what I meant......The KKK as you may know rose to original prominence in the 1870s as a force simply against the HARSH, unfair policies of the Yankee Government in Federally Occupied former Confederate lands, and once the original "reconstructionist" fervor was reduced during the 1880s, and souterners regained control of their state legislatures, the KKK shrunk back into the population.......it re-emerged in a more violent, hate-filled form in the early 20th century due to a number of issues (the upheaval of World war ONE led to blacks being allowed to serve in US Army of that period, later to be segregated during World war TWO thanks in part to the "modern efforts" of the Klan with souterh states and politicians;  also,  adoption of a federal income tax in 1914 angered many who hated the federal government, prohibition, and women's Suffrage/the right to vote)....

shout out from Lone Jack, MO....site of one of the most critical battles of the civil war and remember, like charlie daniels said---the souths gonna do it again..lol
and why even bother talking about upheavals and who served in what war---as someone once so, ummm, eloquently stated...
I am not free to type on the internet what I am typing NOW because thousands of americans died in the hot dusty Iraqi Desert or the lonely desolate hills of Afghanistan over the last 10 plus years.....I was not free to choose which school I attended and what I became after graduating because My dad served in Vietnam.....

sorry, although this is incorrect---freedom of speech ends with comments like that! Ya lost me on that one
