210 miles in the summer is grueling, only to be greeted by a smoky floor. You have the machines and the environment. Sounds like VP nirvana.

Nirvana would be 2 18,000 jackpots like in 2016 12 hours apart. At this point, I will take 1. Every so often before I will most likely bust with the Clone, the bets get up to 20 bucks a deal for just a few hands. It happened before and it could happen again. It’s just not likely. I need 1 just to be roughly even for 2023 for all of those sessions where one forgets discipline and throws caution to the wind. So far 2023 Market gains gave offset most of my losses. Obviously, not the ideal way to do it.

I think I forgot to mention Saturday. Went up solo. Late about midnight. No room. Played overnight figuring I would get a room early Sunday morning, shower, breakfast , sleep 3 hours or so and head home noonish. All of that worked out, but nearing the end of my 2 recent jackpots, I decided to flat bet 3 bucks a deal on the dollar 940 for bet one on the Joker Kings game. ( spin poker ). Pretty much nothing. Not even a straight flush. So the joke was on me. I dropped a grand and did stop before they took everything. Salvaged the remaining 500 bucks. Before quitting the bets had gone up to 6 bucks a deal then 9 on the final 100 bucks. I guess the Joker was on me. No more trips for a week or so. Have appointments this week and no further room offers the rest of the week either. They must be having some really big conventions.

Sure. I'm talking set up apart from actual results.

I went up to Bizarro late last night with the last 500 bucks of my 2 July hand pays. I took a long shot with this way to small bankroll for dollars and played overnight. Just had a funny feeling. Anyway, using the Clone, a couple of back to back full houses kept me going on 9/6 JOB. I was dealt 4 to the Royal in Diamonds. I said to myself, I know this place. No way, no how. Then wham!!!!! By the way, this is the same machine that gave me the other July hand pays. I can only get it 20 percent of the time and only sometimes overnight. I still believe and I am not the only one that some machines pay and some don’t.

Congratulations! Another five figure RF to add to the ledger. The back to back FH would embolden me to keep going, but maybe at $10 a hand. Still a cool $8,000. You burned negligible bankroll, so it was rolling on a yellow brick road. What a windfall!

Thanks. I think my 2 other hand pays were around 6600 total, so at least I got that back plus. The State tax withholding was 728 bucks. 😬
