Bizarro World 2025

The lighter side... playing for entertainment, less concerned about "the math."

Solo trip last night!! Had a nice Suite, but I kissed a Grand goodbye on quarters and dollars. In typical Bizarro fashion, this morning, after playing just 20 minutes with the 20 bucks in free play and no card in, 2 Royals came in. I couldn’t even muster quad Deuces once playing Triple Spin Poker for 8 hours last night. Never mind a Royal!!
Overnight with the Mrs scheduled for tomorrow night. I think I will just take in some games and watch a movie. Keep the Mrs company too for awhile while she plays her game.

Do you find it difficult to go to the casino and not play? I could watch the wife for awhile but sooner or later I would play.

We are heading to Vegas soon and will rent a car and go to Laughlin for a week. We used to go to Laughlin before covid but have not been since. In fact Late Feb 2020 we were in an air BBB across the river in Bullhead City when casinos started closing due to the covid outbreak. We were also told to get our butts back to Canada as the boarders might close any day. Three days later we were in Canada even though we had the Air BB rented until the middle of March. Those were tough months that followed.

Good luck on your trip.

Thanks Ted. Just looking for some gambling, a bit of warmth and sun. You from the Chicago area will understand that.

Obviously not the same gambling vibe as Vegas, but you can experience the same here in metro Phoenix. :)

Thanks Bill. Nice and low key. Some pics later. Enjoy Case and yes, I can chill out for awhile, but eventually will want to play.

The DDB is the Mrs. Deuces is mine. We just lost gas money for the trip. Good luck all. One thing I discovered is for about 200 bucks, I can play the entire trip on nickel Spin Poker Deuces following my clone rules. Can’t go up too quickly unless you have a bigger bank roll and can wait them out. These machines also have the option of switching from nickels to dimes to quarters, but the main reason I play them is the 800 / 1 option if you hit the Royal. I haven’t quite mastered the best way yet to increase the bets on number of lines, amounts bet per line, or a combination of both. The key seems to be unless you are extremely lucky is not go up too quickly on losing bets. So far a net loss is somewhere between 6-10 times your current bet seems to be about right before increasing. Backing down or quitting on a nice hit is a must too if you want to preserve bankroll. I have been working on this about six months and for me, it seems the best way to play and not give the casino a thousand or more on every trip.
