"M" Changing VP?
Coming to LV in two weeks. Just re-checked VPfree and noticed effective today 7/1/09 pay tables for "M" casino are no longer 100% returns.
Did I misread the tables a month ago? I wrote down they had some 100% return machines and was excited visit it while we stay at Red Rock.
Does anyone know if the pay table changes have occurred?
Did Red Rock or the Palms also change?
Thanks,
LL

I did a double-take when I saw that and had to look for myself. According to the vpfree2 charts, it does look like they may have pulled their full pay. Hopefully someone can confirm this. I would imagine that would be greatly detrimental to their local market, which I had assumed was a primary target. They were fine when i visited not long ago but i know things can change fast. How sad that would be, I hoped to go back.

I thought I was going more crazy than normal - all the days 100+ temp here in Houston. I was preparing to practice for the 100% return games at Red Rock and M. Checked my list from a month ago and then VPfree to print off the games. I am really disappointed because I have heard so much on the blog about "M" and we were looking forward to driving over one day and playing there. We were really excited about the Joker Poker because we love JP and can't find high returns in the La. area except for $.

Will be in LV mid-July and will probably stop by one day just to check it out even if the odds are lowered. We have heard the buffet is awesome. If they lowered the pay tables it will give us more money to play at Red Rock or we might go to Green Valley which is close to M.
Will give a report when I get back. Happy 4th of July to everyone.

vpfree2 lists M resort no longer having 100% + games there. Red Rock, Palms and Suncoast haven't lowered theirs yet. Go to the website and search for alternate houses. GVR and SouthPoint are good alternatives.

Ed da Cat,
Thanks. We are staying at Red Rock and I was checking VPfree when I noticed the M changes Wednesday night. I was hoping to check it out since it opened with 100% play but was shocked when I noticed the change.
I play GVR but haven't tried Southpoint. Thought we would swing by Eastside Cannery as well since they also have 100% play and we were on that side of town checking out M.

Larry, SouthPoint, Silverton and M are bunched together at the south end of town. Eastside Cannery is closer to Sams Town, Boulder Station and Arizona Charlies. Theres at least 25 mins drive time between Cannery and M resort. Best of luck to you and bring back a good trip report.

ED da Cat,
Thanks for the info. Will report back after our trip. We are really getting excited about seeing Bryce Canyon, Zion, and then recuperating for three days in LV. Love those airline layovers.
Been preparing for LV by sitting outside in the 100+ degrees Houston weather and imagining the Red Rock pool.
