Pick-em Deuces Bonus-Dbl

Post by faldo »

Hey all.

I'm stuck in the Winter up in Canada and can't get info on this new game just introduced at my local hole.  It's a 10-play variation in 5/10/25 cents option.
I've got the old WinPoker but can't get it run any variation on standard Pick-em.
It pays 1000 credits for the Wild-RF which seems to make it very beatable??

RF                 10K
Deuces & A   4K
Deuces         2K
Wild RF         1K
5 Aces          500
5 3/4/5's      250
other quads 125
SF                100
Full House    50
Flush            35
Straight       20
Trips            10

I've put in only four sessions playing 10-play and hit many Wild Royals so it's seems east to stay ahead?

Am I right to play this one?

Thanks,
G.

You are missing something. You specify "other quads" but not other 5 of a kinds. So, I assume that is what you meant by other quads. However, you have nothing for actual quads. I used 100 for quads.

And, I would guess that something is wrong with my computation. The return as far as I can see is 111.43%.

I must have typed in something wrong. Try it yourself. I used an average of 182 for 5oak (500*1+250*3+125*9)/13.

The variance is over 42.

If I am correct then I would play as much as possible.

I did try reducing the quads to 70 and the return becomes a more realistic 100.255%.  Still a good play.

Opps you're right.
Other 5's pay 125

Quads pay 60

Thanks

Using 60 for quads makes the return 99.16% with a variance of 38.
