RNG/VLT ???
How can you tell what is what anymore? I just ran into a truck driver who was talking about a Oklahoma casino he stopped in to play video poker. He says the machines looked like any other machine we might find in Tunica, Ms. and were made by IGT but was told they were different. I can't remember the name of the casino but that doesn't really matter because my question is how can you tell the difference. I've been thru OK. a few times myself and played and other than the fact that I never hit anything decent I never saw anything that looked any different as far as the vp machines go.

VLTs usually give themselves away when you press the HELP button. They will have some secondary method of payment for when you don't hold the cards they are expecting. This will be mentioned in the help text.
