DDB+ and Aces Deuces

Post by spxChrome »

Just got back from a Biloxi trip and ran into 2 new games and was wondering the payback.

.
Double Double Bonus Plus?
All was the same as DDB except if you got an Ace with any other 4oak 5-k you got 400 instead of 250.

The rest of the game was 7/5

The other game was

Aces Deuces Plus?

It paid 2000 for any 4 deuces with an Ace or any 4 Aces with a Duece.
400 - 2,3,4
250 4oak

7/5

spxChrome,
Where in Biloxi did you catch DDB+ and Aces Deuces Plus? Kids are headed there in early May.

It's always fun to notice new games that have at least a twist different from what you've seen in the past.Wizard has 7/5 DDB+ @ 96.17% and 7/5 Ace & Deuce Bonus @ 95.53%.

This was at the Grand, there is a bank of 6 machines right in front of the Buffet.  Progressive $1 machine.
But I have to say I have been here several times and these machines are wacked out.  Check out the last RF report.

When I left it was at $5700 and the last 3 Royals hit at:

$5700
$7200
$5800
$6500

This is what I call a 1 machine.  Meaning the progressive increases .01 for every $5 played.  So that means it is averaging 1 RF every 230,000 hands.

So it hit 4 RF in a timespan that it should have hit 23.  This was the best VP and maybe the Isle across the Street.  Do not go to the Hard Rock or even worse the Beau Rivage.

They have no pogressives so no telling if anyone ever hits a RF there and the best paytable is 7/5.

The Grand had 9/6.  Plus all the new wacky games out now, Ultimte X, Quick Quads, Spin only thing I didn't see was Mult Strike which was at the Isle.

Yea at the Isle I was one game that I had never seen.  It was a play on Super Double Bonus.  I think it was Super Double Bonus Plus or Delux.

It was a weird combination of DDB and SDB.  Were it paid 800 for J-K with A/234 600 for J-K 800 for 2,3,4 with J-K adn 250 for 2- 10.

Something wacked out like that.  I played it for a bit but the 7/5 paytable was pissing me off.

I also played Joker/Deuces for the first time.  It paid $10,000 for Quad Deuces plus Joker.  But its paytable was insane, 15 for 4oak and only 125 for quad dueces, 75 Wild Royal and maybe 30 for a SR8F.  I can't remember.  But it was pretty a money pit.

spxChrome,

You mentioned in a previous post the RF report! What are you referring to and where? Is there a site I've missed.

Super Double Double Bonus + is common at the Isle Corp. casinos as is Triple Double Bonus, TDB+, and DDB+. They are available at IOC - Lake Charles as well. I understand from a tech at Lake Charles is this is now a standard set up.

It would be interesting to know the exact pay schedule for Super Double Double Bonus Plus.  From Spx's post, I gathered it might be the following, but that ended up with a 100.7980% EV.  I suppose it's possible, but...

Straight Flush
250

4 A + 2,3,4
2000

4 A + J,Q,K

4 J,Q,K + A,2,3,4
800

4 ACES
800

4 J,Q,K
600

4 2-T
250

Full House
35

spxChrome, I am on the Mississippi coast for several months every year and I have found the IP to have pretty good paytables. Have you tried there? They also have some fairly high denoms for Mississippi.

I agree with you about Hard Rock and Beau Rivage....Beau has the ABSOLUTE worst paytables I have ever seen, yet the place is always packed. Why should they improve their paytables if players are dumb enough to pack the place even with poor paytables?

Another fairly decent casino is Silver Slipper in Hancock County, 45 minutes to the west of Biloxi. I have done very well there.

All of the Mississippi casinos have a tax problem on jackpots that is hard for me to accept, but other than that, a nice annual change of pace from Laughlin, my home base.

The IP was the only one I didn't visit this time around cause it was off the beaten path.  But I have heard good things about the IP.  I've only been there once to check it out.  Played some $2 and hit a quick quad for $500 and left since I didn't see a progressive.

LL the RF report was from a local.  I was talking with him and he was telling me it was unusually high and I agreed, then he went to tell me its been like that all month and rattled off the last 4 RF totals that were hit.
