Single hand contest poll
In the August single hand contest, certain game types (Royal Aces, TDB, Black Jack) offered more chances at a jackpot payout of 4000. Obviously this gives you an advantage if you choose to play these types, though any game type could win. This time around, we decided to open up a full range of game options so that people could play their favorite game no matter what. Some people like the skill of searching the pay tables to find the best play for a contest. Some people would like to play their favorite game type while remaining on a more level field of sorts.So... let's hear what everyone thinks. I'm curious about what the poll results will show.

I liked this August contest with it's game choices where you could score 4000 points (or more ) without hitting the Royal . Hit the Royal 4 x this contest, but alas, not in conjunction with another high hit.Too bad,so sad, but maybe next time. This being said, I would like to see a contest with just one game choice, such as, Joker Poker, kings or better. Actually, any single game choice may be interesting. The winners may not score a gazillion points but the game may be fun.

Last time we did a single hand contest it was Triple Double Bonus only. The good thing of course is that everyone was playing the same game type. The down side... some people simply don't like to play Triple Double Bonus because they never learned much of a strategy for it. Some people like to stick with what they know, which is a good reason to at least have the option available.

You're correct webman. Not everyone wants to play one game version only. Also the comment about proper strategy is dead on. Was the KoB joker poker AC? I didn't play it anyways but just curious.

Ed, AC Joker doesn't pay for a pair of kings. Lowest paying hand with AC version is two pair. The Kings or Better version in the contest was 1-1-2-3-5-07-17-050-100-200-940 ... 98.44%Actually, I think you can see all 18 games that were in the contest (and pay schedules) by just clicking on the "Top Scores" button, then selecting "Single Hand Draw Poker".

I did like the game type choices, but think single hand is pretty dull-- so having the ability to change games helps. And, as always congrats to all the winners and it was great to see so many gold this time, i think it was a first.

Single hand might seem dull but when you hit a 5tree or Royal on 5 coins it feels better to me then if it was hit on 15. I would love to see AC Joker on SL vs the 2 pair game there now.

Of course I too would rather see the acjw (right on Faygo)
I ended up playing games I would never normally play because they were the only ones that you had any chance of catching the leaders-black jack and royal aces. I know I could have played the games I prefer but I guess my competitive nature made me play where I had a chance.

I'd love to see AC Joker Poker as well. Being out east it's quite plentiful
