Can someone give me a definitive answer as I have gotten multiple stories-Is Spin Poker NSUD essentially a fancy way of presenting 9-play with identical stategy to single line NSUD ORis there a different strategy?

Can someone give me a definitive answer as I have gotten multiple stories-
Is Spin Poker NSUD essentially a fancy way of presenting 9-play with identical stategy to single line NSUD
OR
is there a different strategy?
According to some of the so-called math "experts" it is played identically to single line video poker. I, on the other hand, disagree with that assessment as in spin poker there are 5 pay lines that cross the middle row center position vs only a maximum of 4 paylines crossing any other position. In my opinion this makes the cards which are held in the center position more valuable than other held cards. I have a whole series of different strategies depending on what positions dealt cards land. I do not play spin poker much due to this change in strategy. My brother plays this game constantly and rarely wins. My guess is due to the needed adjustments in strategy in this game that he doesn't make often enough.
