Big 60 Trip
The big 60 birthday finally came around. A two day trip to Lake Chalres to get away and celebrate was planned. With Christmas the "G" funds were limited but the it was mainly a time for being together that was the priority. Thursday night we played and I was able to pull two nice tickets at the Isle and we played until 4 a.m. on a $100 dollars. Slept in late Friday and went to Lauberge du lac that evening for a great seafood buffet comp'ed for my birthday and to play a little while. Playing spin poker Ms LL couldn't hit a thing. I rarely play spin but decided to give it a try since the other Multi-hand machines were even lower pay tables. Caught 4 deuces/3 ways with the opening hands and dealt a straight flush and then finally 5 Aces/3 ways. Cashed out a nice ticket. Started over with $40 again and caught 5 Aces on DW Dbl Bonus 3 ways followed by another quad 2's. Another nice ticket. Since we both use our 401 G account money was typically coming in from one of us and going out to fund the other.
Finally, we went back to the Isle. I had a couple of nice hits playing multi-hand 25¢ but it went cold and we moved to MH 5¢ up and down the rest of the night and payed again until 4 am. Didn't bring as much home as we could of but really had a great time. What a great trip, spending time with the love of my life, my soul mate And being able to play video poker if we got bored.
I highly recommend it!!!!

Wow staying up until 4:00am two nights in a row is remarkable for a man who is fifty ten. Sounds like you and your better half had a geat time. Good for you and happy birthday.

Can't make it more than a couple of days (long nights) anymore without crashing.
Even in retirement one of us still gets up usually between 6-7, has breakfast and is ready for their morning nap about 11 when the other is waking up. Explains why she is so gorgeous!!!

Family, food, fun, and gambling all rolled into one can sometimes create those special memories in our life.
