Deal Draw Poker

Post by Webman »

Deal Draw Poker

Deal Draw is an improved version of the old classic, Double Pay
Poker. It's a fun bet with action on the deal and on the draw! Any
winning combinations dealt in the opening hands are paid on the deal
according to a unique "deal" pay table. After the deal, hold promising
cards and draw to improve the hands, and get paid again for any winners
at the final outcome according to a traditional, familiar pay table.
Getting paid twice is awesome, and with Triple Play, Five Play and Ten
Play options, your wins can really mount up! - Play Now

Mathematically, I think the games are identical. The differences are mainly UI-focused to resolve difficulties with the old format. New graphics, timing, game flow in the deal/draw phases. With the game due for re-release in some new formats, I think it was decided that these elements should be improved and re-branded.

Really like the new format.  My wife and I play this quite a bit at the Ameristar in Blackhawk- we've been dealt the royal three times at 60000 coins- quite a rush.  The new format takes away some of the confusion as to where you are in the game, deal vs. draw.

So if you get dealt a four of a kind on the top row, nothing you can do.. Basically you are out of luck... Correct!! Not sure I like this game.
