Video poker takes skill!
After spending hours on the floor playing VP I'm exhausted! I try to limit the booze after 3 beers for obvious reasons. Why do you think those drinks are free? VP is a great game for thinkers. I could not imagine sitting around at a silly cartoon inspired penny machine that whizzes and jingles everytime I win a quarter. Video Poker seems to be sparse in most casinos lately... That's a shame! The day they take 'em all out. Consider me a casino ex. Never play more than the rent money and always take advantage of the clubs! Losing a few hundee is much easier after eating a free full, breakfast, watching a show... Staying in a nice room and getting some cash back.

Video poker (Jacks or Better please) is my main Casino game followed by Roulette - I like the fact that there is an element of skill involved that actually affects the pay back (in the longer term)

Allways put enough in for 400 units($100 on 25c. machines-$20 on 5c.).I play DDB,and if I drop to half my units ,switch to JOB.This works out good for me,and by the way ,I play at the Gold Coast bar,by the lounge and find that the more I drink (heinekens)the better I can concentrate on the game!!.For nickels try the Palace Station, there is a progressive by the Washrooms that is hot.(I got a royal,$400)

I usually win on a hunch then bunk down for the night. It lets me stay in the Y for about as long as I can remember. I'm loaded with skill, but I kind of lose my composure with ugly slot club boothlings and incompetent bartenders. I think it's the difference between the Rio's Diamond Club Lounge and Pinky's Piano Bar at the Riviera. Long Live PT's PUB!
