Super times pay

Post by DaBurglar »

Someone made a comment in another thread about the fact that ROVEER seems to be the only person who ever gets REALLY premium hands (quads or better) on Super Times Pay games  WHEN there is a Multiplier!I have to agree....until recently (within the last 6 months)  I only Dabbled in STP, plunking down the random 20 or 30 bucks while I wait for someone or something, just killing a few minutes hoping to catch something....never did. Then about 5-6 months ago I finally decided to give the game a good try and play it......I only play 25 cents and always 3 to 5 lines.....I've yet to have a hand pay, nor even what I would call a "Big hit"......I've played at this point about 12,000-13,000 total hands/deals of STP and my BEST hit was once, I was dealt quad 8s on 5 line with (of course) NO multiplier. But sadly, much as the same with GOOD TIMES PAY, not only do I not get the multipliers when I finally have a hand to actually MULTIPLY, but also I find that with many STP machines, the quality of the hands dealt is abysmal.    Is roveer simply the best, or luckiest STP player in the world, or what????

I do not play Good Times Pay that often, but when I do play it (Bellagio in Vegas, mostly), I have had some good results (except the quality of some of the pics - sorry).

Great hits billyjoe, I've never had that kind of success on Goodtimespay.... but here is one interesting point:The Goodtimespay games you played in your picture offered TDB .... on the two machines of Goodtimespay I have played in AC at the Taj Mahal, they only offer a very limited  selection, namely:     JOB (8/5)    Bonus Poker (7/5)   DDB (8/5)   Joker Poker,   Deuces Wild  and Deuceswild Bonus.    That's it.....which obviously follows in line with my theory that the casinos in AC like the Taj are gun shy when it comes to many of the Video Poker games that potentially offer HUGE hits/paydays to players off of one lucky hand! The TAJ in AC is the only casino I am aware of NOW who offers the multi-line version of Good time Pay .....  Borgata MIGHT have a machine or two lying about somewhere, but I cannot be sure.      That says something in itself!I used to like the SINGLE LINE Goodtimespay version offered on the 5 (five) Star Poker Machines, but the 5 Star Machines ALL disappeared from AC except for the one remaining machine still in Harrah's High Limit SLot Area ("Diamond Cove")  where you cannot play it for lower than $1  (I Stick to my 25 cent denom limit religiously, only venturing up to $1 on VERY rare instances....it is simply one rule I refuse to break with myself.)Still, given the hits you have displaye dhere Billyjoe, would you say that, OVERALL in your longterm history of playing Goodtimes Pay,  would you say you are UP, down or about even?????EDITED to ADD:   Did you see the other thread  I posted in this section titled "GOODTIMES PAY" ?????      I offered some specific Data for talking points, where I state the case that, for the machines at the TAJ-AC at least, something appears VERY "fishy"!!!!

Yes, DB, I am a fan of TDB. While volatile, I think it gives you a chance at a nice return in a short run.

I believe that ALL casinos, DB, in AC and elsewhere, are doing what they can to minimize the large payouts in VP. This includes not offering games like TDB, or restricting denom levels to below $1.

With regard to my personal performance in GTP, while I have no specific stats to support this, I would have to say that I am up on that particular game. I use a "Win/Loss Stop Point" Money Management System when I play VP, so I know that I would stop my play after a nice handpay on that machine, and not play enough to give it all back. As I said, I do not play that game that often, so those nice handpays help bolster a gaming trip.

I know - pretty sad. I went through a time where my phone would have the camera stabilizer off, and I would forget to turn it on before snapping pics. I think that, now, I have the settings correct so it has that feature on automatically when my phone is turned on.

Nice hits BJ and pics too. They looked fine to me. Of course I am almost blind in one eye from birth and need strong reading glasses in the other. . I guess that would come in handy though on a date if the gal wasn't the prettiest one on the block. Not that that matters anyway sometimes. Actually many times which you don't find out until later in life. Of course by that time, we aren't the prettiest guys on the block either. Wonder if I can get back to that 41,31,and 16 1/2 biceps from days of old. Like in 1968. Now how did I get sidetracked like this....I guess 2 hours sleep in the last day and a half would do it. I'll blame Mohegan for that.

Edited to remove the t from biceps. Never needed to ck my spelling years ago. I don't even know. Does the forum offer a spell check option. I never use it myself, but may have to start especially when I'm tired and type too fast.

WTG Billyjoe! If I had paytables of 9/6 on TDB around here, I would probably take more of a risk and the play the multiplier games, possibly even up the denomination for a little extra thrill.
