Las Vegas August 20 - 24, 2015
Well I went to Las Vegas on August 20, 2015 as planned. My flight out of Chicago was delayed almost 2 hours, the delay was blamed on an event earlier in the day on the east coast (no I wasn't blaming anyone on the east coast in particular), but I finally got there. After checking into my room at Rio I was pleasently surprised to find out that I had a corner room and that gave me some pretty good views: Because it was late Thursday night when I checked in I decided to just stay and play at Rio. I sat down to a familiar bank of 3/5/10 play machines and began banging away. I was disappointed that I didn't hit AWAK or a royal but I did manage to hit 2/'s/3's/4's 4 times, each with a kicker. These came in pretty rapid progression and I didn't take any pictures of those hits. I ended my play about 3:30 am with more money in my pocket than I started out with. I woke up Friday morning and after breakfast I decided to take a drive over to Sam;s Town. I was playing Super times Pay and wasn't doing much of anything, I lost about 300 bucks. I started talking with a woman 2 machines down from me and I asked her about Dream Card Poker. She told me that M had a couple banks of machines and so I decided to take a drive out there and check them out. Friday was a point multiplier day so when I got there only one machine was open, so I sat down. I started with .05 denomination but after hitting AWAK a couple times I bumped it up to .10 denomination. I was dealt quads several times, including some premium auds (2's/3's/4's), and I left M a while later up about 800 bucks. After a nap I had some dinner and took the Harrah's shuttle over to Paris. I played there and at Bally's for a couple hours, only hitting a few small quads. I lost a few hundred between those two places and at 1:00 am I caught the last shuttle back to Rio. I decided to try a Quick Quads machine that was tucked into a corner, I ended up cashing out a nice little 400 dollar profit. I went over to a Let it Ride table and over the course of an hour I lost 200 bucks back. Off to bed I went, happy but not REALLY happy. I started with Rio Carnival World buffet breakfast on Saturday and decided to go back to the Dream Card machine I was playing the day before at M. About 30 minutes into my session up popped: After getting paid I was playing some more and: A little while after hitting this I decided not to push my luck so I then headed north up Las Vegas Blvd to stop into South Point. I started out there playing my favorite penny slot, Treasures of Troy. I played for a while at max coin, $2.40 a spin, and got the bonus. I ended up hitting a pretty good bonus of $190.00 which meant I almost doubled my investment. I cashed out of that machine and went in search of a video poker machine. I found one, one of those that the max coin is double the norm and I was playing .10 denomination. I hit a couple quads, one was small aces, and I decided to take the $250.00 profit and hit the door. I left South Pointe up almost $450.00, which was cool. After a nap and some dinner, again, Rio Carnival World buffet, I took a drive out to Red Rock. I found another Treasures of Troy machine and did pretty well, cashing out with a tidy little profit of $380.00. I went to a video poker machine and over the course of an hour lost 200 bucks. Time to get out of Red Rock. I stopped back at The M and sat down again at my new favorite Dream Card machine. I didn't stay long but it was long enough to det back what I had lost at Red Rock. Headed back to Rio to finish out the night, sat down at my familiar 3/5/10 play TDB and fiinally caught: Off to bed, happy. Sunday morning after having a nice breakfast I decided to play a bit at Rio and I lost $500.00. I slowed things down and grabbed the Sunday paper for a breather. Took a stroll around and it was time for a nap. After my nap I decided to try the Seafood buffet at Rio and it was pretty good. I then go into the rental and took a drive to, yup, The M. Sat down in front of my new best friend and: Then, Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy: Capped out my night at The M with: I decided to head over to The Linq. I stopped in there and sat down at a machine and quickly, QUICKLY lost $400.00. I decided to take a walk down to Harrahs and try something there. I sat down at a .10 denomination machine tthat had a max bet of 150 coins. I decided what the heck and decided to play. Within 5 minutes I was dealt quad queens for a nice $750.00 payoff. I reached for my camera and realized that I left my phones sitting next to the machine I was playing at The Linq. I quickly, QUICKLY cashed out the ticket and sprinted back to The Linq, finding my phones right where I had left them. Relieved, I decided that was enough drama for one night and I headed back to Rio. Arriving back to Rio I sat down at a 3 card poker table and stuck around long enough to lose $200.00. I decided to call it a night. Monday I didn't gamble at all. My pockets were full so I made a stop to Bank of America to deposit my new found bounty. Toured downtown and was disgusted by seeing the homeless just lined up on the sidewalk. Then took a drive out to Hoover Dam to see it, hasn't changed since the last time I saw it, filled up the rental car and headed back to the airport. The End.

nice hits.....since this is Vegas I do not have much trouble at believing any of this......What I do need to ask (and I really really really wish bob dancer would chime in on this) is how is it possible that no matter what or where you play, you just always seem to win a whole bunch of "tidy little profits"?? All these red herrings where you sit down and lost 200 or 300 bucks playing some table game or slot RIGHT AFTER you get a hand pay of 4grand, or 2900 bucks, do not "balance out" or obscure what is going on here.....Here's the bottom line: if you really truly win all this, and never really LOSE, then this is the greatest gambling story (more like Phenomena) in recent memory ...... it is not that you WIN per se, it is this consistent PATTERN to how and what you win (along with the game, multi line DREAMCARD) which defies all logic and convention.I guess if you could actually just plainly show everyone what you won, how much, what your true real starting bankroll is/was and what you ended up with, it would erase any and all doubt and demonstrate once and for all this amazingly superior "system" or WAY of gambling you seem to possess.other people here report trips where they honestly say, "I got clobbered and lost such and such....." I cannot recall you ever reporting such a trip....now maybe you simply choose to NOT report those trips and only tell us about trips such as this one......I dunno....But as I said, I can easily believe this particular trip and all that is detailed simply because,....it is VEGAS.

Notes, Double L, Jeter; thank you all. It definitely was a fun trip. The funny thing was that I decided to go back to The M on Sunday night only after being told that Penn & Teller were sold out. I was planning on going to their show but now I'm glad they were sold out. DaBurglar I just don't know what to say to you. I wish I took pictures of my hits on Thursday night as well as Sunday night when I was dealt the quads for $750.00. But you would still have something negative to say.

Also: When you went downtown and encountered this huge long line of Homeless people.....where was this exactly? What were they in line for????? I am honestly curious (and concerned obviously...)were you disgusted by the HOMELESS themselves, or the general fact/existence of such poverty amidst a city with so much money and opulence?Vegas is one of the worst places to be HOMELESS, in spite of all the money, opulence and tourists and such.......the harsh climate (BRUTAL SUMMER HEAT 6 plus months out of the year, along with Brutally cold winters) takes its toll on the homeless and destitute.....the last decade of Conservative governments and their typically heartless and cavalier attitude towards the marginalized and disenfranchised elements of society has further made it extremely hard for the homeless to survive in vegas, as new laws designed to (on the outside) combat crime make loitering and sleeping in public prosecutable offenses; and former practices amongst many of the casinos to help the homeless, such as taking all the TONS (literally) of uneaten food each day from the various buffets all around Vegas and making that food available to the homeless and less fortunate has greatly been curtailed and discouraged (again by the heartless political forces currently holding sway) by catering to manufactured "fear" and discrimination towards the homeless (i.e. the heartless Business and "upper crust" ctizens of Vegas do not want the HOMELESS around AT ALL, so anything short of Genocide to get rid of them or discourage them from hanging around is implemented)

And I clearly said (twice) I completely believe this report from Vegas.......so Um, ditch the "poor me victim burglar is picking on me again" subterfuge. I'd rather you just tell me to piss off, its none of your business, at least that way the rest of us who typically only win once every four or five sessions can hold on to our suspicions without any false/phony guilt.Never mind all this, just answer my other post about the Homeless.....when I am in vegas next month I plan on BEING downtown a LOT and I want to HELP these homeless people instead of being disgusted by them......

can't believe i dumb enough to respond, but consider doing the following; -sell your house-cash out all your savings accounts-redeem all your investments-round up everyone else who feels the same and pool your money-take all you have and give it to those you believe need it better yet, go to all those on the street and offer them a job, see how many show up.
