Multi-Denominational Machines
Our casino has recently added some new machines & I noticed when changing denominations the cards shown from the previous hand are the same on quarters and fifty cents but a different hand on dollars (same game). The older machines have the same hand showing on all denominations. This just seems a little strange?

Interesting. I've never noticed if the previous hand changes with a change in denomination of any kind. Maybe I should pay more attention to things like that. Shouldn't have any affect on the next hands deal, or does it?

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but I think this is also an indicator of a true class III machine, if the cards are different when you change denominations and the paytable is different as well.

Wildman is correctCheck the pay table. If the game was say DB the pay table might be 9-6-4 on quarter and fifty cent, but on dollars it might be 9-6-5If the tables were the same the cards would be the same on each denomination.

You learn something everyday. I only play deuces wild and it's amazing how many times I see a machine with quad deuces on the screen when I walk up to it. I always thought someone had hit and cashed out on that machine or the game programmers do that to get you excited. I also wonder if I should play that machine, but I've hit enough consecutive quad deuces to keep from scarring me away. Fun stuff...

I can confirm with case, daily_double, and wildman49 that it is the game. 25c/50c games usually have the lower payscale than the $1 ones, and the outcome of cards switch between different games AND paytables.

MD machines must be fantastic! I always park myself at one or the other, greatly limiting my options.
