Trump effect....create the facts and truth that suits your purpose and agenda; and then declare as false or fake, or simply deny anything you disagree with or that contradicts. Then after enough time passes cite your own BS as authoritative source....Trump's been doing it since the 1970s for his own warped purposes and lately for his warped idiotic style of governing.....except now the general population is so comprehensively lazy and ignorant they neither can tell truth from lies, or they just don't care (or, they prefer the lies because they support their own views and feelings).....case in point, so many lower middle class AND poor whites from rural areas in Kansas, Missori, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Kentucky, Tennessee, North & South Carolina, Arkansas, West Virginia voted for Trump (and still incomprehensibly support him) despite the fact he has nothing but contempt for them, has nothing in common with them and ultimately cares not at all for them or their real issues; but they stick with him because he legitimizes and stokes their most hateful, bad tendencies and feelings, particularly racial prejudices and the ever popular blaming brown people for all their problems.

The new normal....
