It amazes me that I have 100 three Aces hands...

Did you hit any jackpots? Did you get a great comp? We all want to know!

Now FP has chimed in, I'm out of this thread. If anybody wishes to continue it, move it over to the strategy section where he's not allowed to participate.

Don't forget three aces with 49 cards left, not 47 like typical draws. Looks the same but it isn't.

https://wizardofodds.com/games/video-po ... aw-frenzy/

you will see that at least the Wizard of Odds believes that the non-matching dealt cards are not replaced in the pack, leaving a 2/47 chance for hitting quads rather than 2/49.

Nevertheless, if it turns out that you can get the discards on the draw, it is even more likely that one would receive a given number of quad whiffs due to chance rather than some casino-induced non-random shenanigans.

You are right. 3.As with conventional multi-play video poker, each hand on the draw is dealt from a separate deck, with the original five cards from the deal removed.

I must have been thinking of something else.

you seem to be unsure of how many hands you played --- which clearly means you weren't recording.you convert 3 aces to 4 every 23.5 hands on average. 100 hands is about 4 cycles. Going zip for four cycles happens about 1 in 800 times. Play long enough and it will happen to you. Dealing with it when it happens is part of gambling. Not a fun part, to be sure, but it happens.

I appreciate the math on that, and other contributions to this thread. Very interesting.

With Frenzy you get about 25 hands on average, so I should be hitting four aces ONCE, on average, every time I get Frenzy.

It sure as hell isn't happening like it should.

That said, I have seen Aces/kicker hit in frenzy (25 hands) three times (this was $12,000). I've seen two hit. I've seen one hit.

Yes, it happens.

But NOTHING hitting has been a pattern lately on a certain bank of machines I've been playing.

Good news: got 3 threes, and 3 kickers in Frenzy for $3k the other day.

Thanx for correcting my numbers in a way that was helpful and not belittling!

It's not that hard to be that way...I promise.

Where were you playing and we will not go there. Was it a casino in Vegas?
