Yes, I recall vow now. I await the results. My Bally's machines of this ilk max out at ten, so I'm handcuffed by restrictions!

I start at 5 quarters. I promised the forum I wouldn't bother with the detail unless I have ten consecutive positive trips. 4 so far. Four is about the most I have ever had with any method without failure so we will see what happens. You have to have a machine that allows bet 25 to play it.
You've never pulled off 10 consecutive winning trips when trying to Martingale? Blah. Figured you would have at some point. But maybe you don't go as crazy with martingale as one possibly can.

The various martingale methods i have tried are very mild and sometimes so mild the steps up arent big enough to offset earlier losses. On long. Old streaks, the bets would just get too high otherwise. As an example, if i were playing airport deuces, starting at bet 5 , I might not go to bet 6 until i had lost what a wild royal would play. In 9/7/5 double bonus i might even wait until i have lost what a cheap quad would pay. The more aggressive forms are more exciting but easy to get wiped out on

To me it seems like the casinos nationwide are headed toward vp paying 98 percent or less with 96 to be the norm.
This has been going on for a while now. In our travels we visit a lot of casinos. Most quarter VP averages about 97%. If you step up to dollar play or above, you can find 99% games. Hidden among these games are always a few decent games for those who look hard enough. I always check the high limit room and commonly find the odds worse than on the casino floor. Of course Vegas is the exception. The off strip casinos like Red Rock and South Point still have a hand full of positive games for those players who believe they can beat them. How long that will last is anyone's guess.

I assume there are still professional VP players. I would think it's getting to the point where they are considering moving to something else. On the other hand there will always be drawings, promotions and special offers to make it worthwhile.

Phil, in the last few weeks the "Profit video poker player vs. Recreational/Entertainment video poker player rhetoric has been greatly toned down. How about we remain on that path?

Trials 5 and6 went well. Actually the nickel session was more fun. Pics attached. The nickel session was only 2 hours and ended up plus 98 bucks. The quarter one was a lot of work and lasted nearly 8 hours. Ended up plus 100 for that session. It was hampered be long absences of quads. No straight flushes were hit in either session. Just a side note. Ending up to the plus side doesnt rely on hitting a royal but medium size hits are a must

The Recreational Forum has recently become what I always envisioned it to be, a place where players can freely talk about any playing style they wish to discuss. Falling odds and comps have become part of the casino experience over the past 10 years. This issue affects all players and is worthy of discussion. You either deal with it intelligently or continue to play as before and watch your losses mount. However, as it seems to elicit negativity, I will refrain from making comments about professional VP.

NSU deuces with 0.3% cash back is a positive game. I submit that the dozens and dozens of NSU deuces machines at South Point constitutes more than a hand full.

No falling AC odds except Hard Rock. Their player assault seems to be national!
