Everyone who has ever played in AC is being offered a comp room this weekend. I bet even FAA could get one.

Haven't been in Vegas in over 2+ years. Haven't had a comp offer since last September. Be interesting if one arrived.

went to tampa hard rock today;
-got there around 7am, very few people, even at noon, well below normal crowd size. but, the crowd was still seniors. even saw a tour bus full of seniors unloading folks.
-i was surprised that i was one of very few wearing a mask. i only put the mask on my face, when i get within a few feet of others. agree with previous comment that when wearing a mask, much less likely to touch one's face. i am training myself to touch face with back of hand, instead of fingers.
-one of the nice changes i have noticed is that everyone seems to be washing their hands, when leaving the bathroom. being kind of a germ-a-phobe, it always ticked me off to see soooo many guys not wash.
-learned a little trick. take some paper towels from rest room and put a load of hand sanitizer on them and wipe off buttons before playing. noticed some women doing this. don't know if effective, but can't hurt.
-another idea, when i leave the casino, i have bunch of packets of sanitary wipes in the car. first thing i do wipe off my hands and face/neck/ears. i did all of this long before corona.

if nothing else, maybe this virus will make people more aware of their cleanliness practices. if everyone practiced better hygiene, i would guess it might reduce levels of the common flu and other illnesses.

Free room offer today, but I have a big event tomorrow. Bad timing as usual.

Stock up on Velveeta and Spam, we're all going to Die!!

The Orlando Theme Parks shut down this morning. Everything is going on hold for a few months. My wife thinks people will pull their homes off the market. Who wants strangers from who-knows-where roaming around your house? Lots of people will be out of work. As soon as there are enough test kits, we are going to find many more cases. Think of this virus as a national hurricane with no building damage that lasts for months.

It's a great time to be an investor. I know it sounds callous, but these are the times that investors dream about. You will need cash to weather this storm. Lessons will be learned. The world needs to stop relying on the poorest, filthiest places on earth to make cheap stuff. If I was president, "Oh My God NO!", I would pass a law that anything sold in America must be made here and the US military would be limited to 200 miles offshore. Jesse Ventura for President. :lol:

Perhaps the people not wearing surgical masks have been influenced by the comments of numerous people in the medical field who indicate that wearing one is not very effective in preventing others from infecting you?

According to what I've read, and heard, the purpose of a surgical mask is to prevent you from infecting others. And, the fact that they are being gobbled up by the general population means that there is now a shortage, and the medical people who really need them are having difficulty acquiring them.
