i have a suggestion. all the politicians, the talking heads, all the docs, all the scientists, all the experts, the media, who say the country must be shut down for as long as it takes....they must also go without their paychecks, along with everyone else.

let's just see if they still feel the same after a couple of missed paychecks.

a survey just released from LendEDU, of 1000 of americans, aged 18 and older (survey was done before virus);
-57% said they were NOT saving anything in a 401k, IRA or high yield savings account
-63% have credit card accounts. 54% of those were worried about making credit card payments.
-only 25% have college loan debt

my interpretation; 75% of americans have NO student debt, but it keeps making national news. not everyone has borrowed their way through college. also, many americans were in poor financial shape, long before the virus crisis came along.

at presser today, DR. BIRX made a couple of interesting statements;

-she was alarmed/upset/disappointed that there were stories that nyc had no icu beds and no ventilators. she stated this was absolutely false. there are beds available and thousands of unused ventilators.
-she also stated that the 'models' her team has been using, are NOT matching up, with actual facts on the ground. the models are suggesting a much more dire infection and death rate than what is actually happening.
-she stated the worst areas are still nyc, some areas of NJ, wayne county MICH, cook county (chicago) and CA.

note, all the worst areas are dem run and liberal populated urban strongholds.

you can read all of DR. BIRX comments online. she states that earlier 'models' in the UK projected 500,000 deaths. they have now lowered that projection to 20,000, that is quite a drop. early models projected italy woulld have 400,000 deaths. she says they are no where near that number. further, she states there is no model that projects that 60-70% of americans will get infected.

DR.FAUCI also spoke and stated he felt very good about the likelihood of an approved medical therapy being available.

It was really interesting to see the entire press conference live. Two reporters went on air live from the room within minutes. He asked for a reporter’s affiliation. When told Bloomberg, he asked, “How’s Mike?”

how is your area affected?

-florida has 2765 positive cases and 35 deaths. 2+ million more people than nys. also, the greatest percentage of folks in the most 'vulnerable' group in the country...60-70-80 years of age.
-of all the cases in fl, more than half are located in/around miami. this area is generally thought as the younger, hippest age group.
-we live in the tampa/st. pete area. more than 3+ million people, less than 300 cases and 4 deaths.
-and, as i have stated before, sumter county, home of the VILLAGES, 60% of residents over age 65, 29 cases and zero deaths. and, few young people.
