these experts have it figured out that they win either way. if the virus is less deadly, it is because we all did what they said.

fauci is smart guy and he has the backing of media. but, he best be careful, any wrong move (comment) on his part and the left and media will turn on him in a moment, he will have no idea what hit him.

Februrary 8th- "miniscule risk to the public". - Dr. Fauci
-----------------------------------------------------------------
February 8th- "not going to cause a major risk to the U.S." - Dr. David Agus, CBS Medical Contributor
If this is how off national experts were, how can anyone be so politically liable? Okay, we should have closed down on March 2. That would have been much better, if not optimal.
Yesterday, Paula Reid of CBS rips the President a new one over a February gap in the video montage. Reid's husband happens to be a Chinese lobbyist! Maybe not the one to assign to the White House beat?

The Trumpsters newsie just over. We will no longer fund the lying, deceiving,China dominated WHO.

Also the Governors will decide when to open their States. The dem gov's are going to get have to get off their complaining,back-biteing asses and make a tough political decision, without a safety net. :D

Wise decision by Trump. If the governors want the responsibility of when to reopen their states, they should have it. Ok now, which state will be most aggressive in pushing the reopen envelope? Predictions?

No decision at all there. He's not authorizing anything. The governors already had this authority.

I think states that depend on tourism will feel the pressure to "re-open". Florida, Nevada, maybe even California.

Questions about keeping the home front virus free.
Lets say my home, and all in it, has been isolated for two weeks. No symptoms of virus showing up.

Can it be safely assumed that no virus is alive in that environment?
If any provisions, delivered by family members, are left outside for 3 days (the max. time i have heard that the virus can survive on objects) can they be safely brought in without requiring disinfecting?

Realistic plan or wishful thinking?
