Double Super times pay
So I just read some information on double super times pay on wizard of odds but these have better odds than normal video poker machine with 7 coin play ? For example it says for 9-6 JOB normally it is 99.54% return but with double super times pay 7 - coin play it is now 100.05% return . Does that edge come from the automatically 20 x bonus on dealt royal flush ?
I love super times pay but usually the denomination is very low and pay table is very bad right ?

Part of the increased return is from getting dealt a royal and a multiplier on the deal. That gives you an automatic 20x multiplier. But the chance of that happening is about one in 9 million. Paytables are reduced on DSTP.

How about if we took out the dealt royal 20x bonus from DSTP ? Would it be negative EV off too compared to standard JOB 9-6 5 - coin ?

STP adds 0.26. So my guess is just double that to 0.52. Again guessing, the automatic 20x on a dealt royal with a deal, not draw, multiplier would be the rest of it to get the 100.05 on 9/6 JoB. Highly unlikely you'll ever find this in a casino though. I personally got spoiled with 9/6 JoB STP Spin Poker (99.82%) until that was removed.

DSTP adds "about" 0.5% --- as you say --- but it varies from game type to game type.

My above post should be 0.28 for 9/6 JoB STP, not 0.26.
