You got them. For the record, 2 - WCBS, 4 - WNBC, 5 - DuMont then Independent, 7 -- WABC, 9 -- WOR Independent, Broadcast the Brooklyn Dodger games, 11- WPIX, Independent Broadcast The Yankees and NY Giants games, 13 Independent, then PBS. For some reason, can't remember the original call letters for 5 and 13.

On a good day I could pull in channel 9 in Ct. but it was usually snowy. We watch a lot of 11 for sports.

also UHF which was like short wave radio. ok ok now you know I am older than the hills !

While UHF began in the 50s, few TVs could access those channels. Our TV could not receive UHF so I never watched any of those stations until much later.

from memory ch2 cbs, ch4 nbc, ch5 fox, ch7 abc , ch9 wor , ch 11 wpix , ch13 pbs . ch 9 had the mets while ch. 11 had the yankees ! if i remember correctly uhf had a scanner dial or u would have to click the antenna dial around to get a station . it always seemed to be snowing because of bad reception !

Ahh, and remember when television stations signed off at night and on again the next day???
