Speaking of Deuces Wild, I have come up with a strategy for a single line game that so far after a few sessions works very well. I have only done it on quarters where I am able to bet up to 25 quarters if I have to. Probably almost everyone will say it is nonsense but I have had about a half dozen sessions where it worked and I never hit a Royal or quad deuces. It has to do with the frequency of a hand ending up with 2 pair or better which for Airport deuces long term it happens every approximately 5.7 hands. To get that number, I just added up all of the probabilities for hands two pair or better and divided 1 by that total. As the session goes on, even though every deal is independent of the last one, the probability of hitting a better paying hand increases. Therefore, you want to have enough coins bet per hand so when you hit something good it will cover part or all of your prior losses in a dud cycle.

Yes I'm almost sure you mentioned the same previously, and it's equally as true now as it was then.

I have a typo in the above. I meant to say straight not 2 pair. Must have JOB on what is left of my brain, but the straigh or better appearing every 5.7 hands is correct on Airport Deuces by the time the hand is completed.

In earlier times, I put in some hours on FPDW where 1 pair was correct.
Reminds me of a comment I saw years ago in response to the question: Which pair should I hold? The answer - the other one.

Ditto. I have never been able to find anything better than Airport Deuces at Mohegan Sun. 98.91 I think. And that paytable is not the dominant one by any means. Most are in the 96/97 range.

If it's still there, you could short-coin the one machine with full-pay 99.81 Deuces Double Bonus. It's indicated as a 5-play multi strike, but the feature only adds 0.08 (for a total of 99.89) according to WOO.

I haven’t been able to find that machine. There is a pretty big difference between the way I am playing regular Deuces Wild now and the old way using the Clone. It reminds me of counting cards in Blackjack, but of course totally different. Right now, I just count the number of hands. After 6, if I haven’t ended up with a straight or better, I up my bet one unit. So far six winning sessions and none hit deuces or a Royal Flush without Deuces. No use going into more detail now unless I have at least a dozen or more winning sessions. None were big winnings. 50-150 bucks per session, but remember that is both quadless for Deuces
and Royalless. The whole process only involves counts of between 1 one and 6.

Heee heee. Yes the old and new are totally different. There is more to it, but the old involved much more counting and had to do with what hand came in and how many times your bet it paid. The new just involves counting no higher than 6 no matter what happens in 6 deals. If it works a dozen times or more without misses, I will spill the beans.
