Thanks all. Yes TT, that was a short mini break on betting small on the anniversary trip. I actually ran up very late last night. Nickels only. Had a free room and food credits to burn and bring home dinner today. Wow 102 degrees 2 days ago and 68 today. Lost a 20 on nickels, then made a quick day trade in the market this morning to get it back. Amazing! If can catch a trend, you can make a quick hit in the market in seconds. So much different than VP. No buy or sell fees either way too. Of course VP is much more fun and less homework.
. And with auto reporting of your basis and gain or loss by the broker, taxes aren’t too much work either. Was a Royal pain in the old days and broker fees back then remind me of poor casino paytables.
The Mrs was very happy. She got a day off from cooking and was able to finish last minute touches putting the garden in. PS….speaking of taxes, unlike VP if you buy a stock and it goes down, you can sell it and offset your gain on another stock. Then, if you still have faith that it will come back, after the 30 day wash sale rule, buy it back at a cheaper price and hope for the best. Wish VP had a version of those rules.

“ I will survive “…….maybe…..Leaving in a few for Triple Status points to work on the Mrs Tier level to at least get her at least off the bottom rung tier status. The game plan is

7/5 job or 16/13 DW but on an 800/1 Royal Triple Spin poker play. Starting with a 5 cent bet on one line and upping on the lines on every loss until something hits. After I get to 27 lines ( 9 a line on each of the 3 games, ) I can still continue the progression at 2 per line and so forth. The goal would be to hit and run with maybe something good dealt on multiple lines. Caution. It’s very aggressive. A long dud streak will not be good unless a big hand hits immediately after a dud streak of 20-30 dud hands which does happen unfortunately. The saving grace could be the 5 cent starting bet. I can also switch to dimes if I have to. If I don’t reduce my bets as well after even a small hit, it will be disaster almost guaranteed.

Welllllll……27 lines for 6 hours and no quad deuces. Hard to believe. But racked up bunch of status points for the Mrs. She’s close to goal now. Budget was relatively small. Seems impossible, but I know I did the math correctly. 600 hands an hour X 27 hands X 6 hours of play = 97,200 hands without quad deuces!!!!!!! ( nickels ). In round numbers, that’s 20 times I should have quad deuces not 0. And at least 2 Royals I didn’t get either. Some other decent dealt hands saved me from busting even earlier It works out to about 5,000 coin in at 1.35 a deal. Half way through, I changed it to dimes so probably had 7500 or so coin in. Giving up 4 percent to the poor paytable, I should have lost about 300 not 600 bucks, but without the Royals or deuces, damage was worse. This was an 800 for bet one machine. A dealt Royal would have been really nice on dimes. Just like the one Bill just got!!
. That would have been 2,160 bucks. Congrats again Bill.
