Speaking of short coin FAA…..Do you go back far enough to remember these? Worn on belts by bus drivers and train Conductors among others. Also the Good Humor man. I know of at least one poster that will. OTABILL. Probably remember the first hand held Scientific Calculator HP-35. Too introduced in 1972. 395 bucks apiece.

Boy, do I remember those coin holders. As for the Good Humor man, "I 'm the friendly man who sells Good Humor. The ice cream kids all favor."olds442jetaway wrote: ↑Mon Sep 22, 2025 6:14 pmSpeaking of short coin FAA…..Do you go back far enough to remember these? More and more places won’t even accept cash anymore…….I still bend down to pick up a penny. Tests my knees and balance that way…….Borrowing from grandparents…..” A penny saved is a penny earned “. FAA….ever hold one of these in your hand? 1793-1857. US Large Cent. Now that’s when a penny was a penny.

Jalopy in “action.” Rarely comes, circuitous route, often full, wacky passengers. Dispatcher constantly yacking up a storm with drivers to torture patrons.
