Big Ben

Post by damule »

I was absolutely shocked this morning when I was reading the news on the internet to find out that the woman who has accused Ben Roethlisberger of rape is none other than Andrea McNulty, my host at Harrah's in Lake Tahoe. I have had numerous dealings with her and found her to be very good at what she does. I do have my opinion on this matter whether she is making this up or if it really did happen; however, I'm not ready to share that opinion on this forum at this time.

My wife and I were in Tahoe shortly before this apparently occurred in July of 2008 and had spoken with her several times thereafter. She did mention she had been on medical leave, but seemed in fine spirits. I'm curious if any others on this forum are familiar with Andrea or have had any dealings with her, and what your opinions are about this situation.

Not to be too critical damule and it's not because I'm a lifeling Steeler fan but maybe you should say before this allegedly occurred instead of apparently occurred.

There will not be any criminal charges filed and it may turn out to be cosentual, very similar to Kobe Bryant's situation from 2 years ago. Just my opinion.

Vaild point Ted, accept that Ben has not denied the occurance taking place as at least a consensual agreement.

And, although, the events may be similar to Kobe's, morally it's not even close since Kobe was and still is married and Ben was and is not married.

I'm off to Vegas for the weekend. I'll be back Sunday and hopefully there will be some controversial feedback to this. Wish me luck.

Good luck. Maybe Eduardo will do a pre-trip report for you.

Good luck in Las Vegas damule, check out Red Rock for me and tell them I miss them and will be back soon. As for Ben he has suffered one of the traps of celebrity as he should never have put himself into a position where something like this could even be alleged. How about Mark Buehrle of the White Sox throwing a perfect game today, so cool...

Hit a Royal at the Red Rock yesterday Ted. I will have pictures attached in a few days when I have some time.

BTW, The Palms has lowered it's deuces wild returns in their high limit area to 15/9 from 16/10, I didn't touch these machines when I saw this.
Also, The M Resort is awesome, had some great hits on one machine there.
The trip was a winner and I will give a more detailed report with pictures when time allows.
