If I start a topic that says "I am going to do a taco taste test with a few beans, medium beans, and lots of beans, and clearly this will not give me gas" and then I do the test and get gas, is my gas just imaginary gas?
 
Simply because that is how the challenge was stated? One can draw conclusions based on results. No matter how a question is framed,  this is an observable event that can be analyzed.

Thats a ugly way of covering your ass before the game starts. A way of saying if you do not win the results prove nothing. You knew the results would show you would lose so making a statment like that is a wimp out. So you could go back and continue your BS crap
