At least So. Cal has casinos. Texans provides the money to keep OK and LA casinos going. 70-80% of the cars in the casinos in Lake Charles are from Texas. The closest casinos to Houston are 100-120 miles away. Luckily they are all just off I-10 which averages 80 mph most of the time from Houston city limits to Beaumont 90 miles away. Then you a few miles inside La. you can hit the new La. "casino autobahn" 3 new lanes heading due east to Lake Charles where cars going 70 mph stay in the slow lane.

Maybe someday Texans will realize our tremendous loss financially.
