Joliet - Ultimate X

Post by Marksman »

Was wondering if anyone who frequents the casinos here would know what denomination the Ultimate Xs are (or if they're multi-denominational) and how many machines are at each casino, especially Harrah's?Thanks a bunch.P.S.  Has anyone seen any Dream Card machines yet?

No Ultimate X machines at Harrah's.  Not sure about Empress but there weren't any there last time I was there about three weeks ago.

If you want to play Ultimate X the closest casino to Chicago that has it is Ameristar in East Chicago Indiana and those are low denomination. There are also 2 Ultimate X machines at Foour Winds Casino in New Buffalo Michigan. The closest to "novelty" video poker are the quick quads and big times pay games at Hollywood in Aurora Illinois. Harrahs in Joliet had a couple wheel poker machines but I think they may be gone.

Okay, thanks both of you.  I find it bewildering tho that VP.com has Ultimate X listed at Elgin, Aurora and Empress.  Harrah's has it listed at Joliet on their website "Find a slot" or something similar to that. which led me to inquire. Funny both sites would say it at those places when it is not. C'est le guerre.

Also, I did play Big Times and Super Triple Play at Elgin way earlier this year for those of you interested.

Empress had a couple Big Times Pay machines but they were only there for a short time, makes me wonder if they were paying off too well.

Harrah's as two 25 cent Ultimate X machines right next to the Blue Bar, just before you walk in the video poker room.

Ok..thank you. I was hoping they were 5 centers like the Harrahs website said, but 3-5 play will do.

Went to Harrah's Joliet and they actually have 3 Ultimate X VP machines plus a Double Down Stud now.

For La./Texas locals. The Isle of Capri Lake Charles is scheduled to receive two Ultimate X machines in November according to their slots director Paul Ennix.   I believe Paul indicated they would be 5¢ denomination but I will check. Hopefully, he won't take out anymore of the 99% return 5¢ machines for the UX.
