[QUOTE=oej719] Add in $100 in freeplay and you'll see him at the nearest VP bar with a fishing pole, sushi, a bottle of Jack and a gambling monkey on his back.
Don't forget his cigarettes...

Fish tacos are pretty popular here. But I think Eduardo is a traditionalist and wouldn't dream of putting fish inside a tortilla. Just beans or beef, but I might be wrong on that.
Speaking of Eduardo, has he been around? He got another dishonorable mention from that VP writer. Pretty nasty, actually, so I won't repeat it. That writer must just be jealous of Eduardo's recent winnings. I was thinking that maybe Webman sent him to pre-emptive time out.

Ah, life would be perfect then wouldn't it? We've been smoke free in CO for a while, and it's saved me a small fortune.

But you've more than made up for it in losses by fashioning those tinfoil hats and shoes. Poor Eduardo! The guy does great on a short jaunt and he gets accused of lying and racially profiled by an idiot. I saw those photos taken so I know they're genuine. I also saw firsthand what ritual he used to find that "hot" machine. I think I'll let Eduardo tell if he's up to sharing.

Marie.......you are incorrect as to my feelings and thoughts, but thanks for the effort to get back to the fact that I was trying to make ... that if you have a player's card and are hoping to gain points, then re-setting your point countdown each time you make a bet would be fruitless. I'm not sure if any casinos do this presently but I've played at many that do in the past.

Mark: It was my understanding that every time we pull our players card out it stops that countdown towards cash backs and/or meal/merchandise comps and probably negates what was started. I assume any machine that accepts a players card would work on the same principle. I leave a machine when I am ready to leave a machine and have yet to wait for a countdown sequence to finish that cycle. However, there is a good chance I had been playing that machine for a few hours and accumulated many points on my card. Do any of you wait for that countdown to finish before pulling that card and leaving? Any thing to add to this line of reasoning?

Marie - I sometimees will play one more hand if I notice that it will give me another point. Usually I just pull the card and walk away.
Seen a guy at the MGM Detroit go thru this ritual; Holds all five cards from left to right, then unholds all cards from right to left, then holds all cards from right to left, unholds cards right to left, holds all five cards from middle card two each side of middle card, then two outside cards, then unholds in the same manner. Finally holds the cards he wants to play.
I asked him what the purpose was and he said that it confuses the machine so it cant concentrate on what he finally holds. I didn't notice him win anything, but he was not losing real fast with all that hold/unhold business. Guess it's a way to slow down your play.

That's a funny story, redleg. It sounds like a sure way to make a bank roll last longer AND increase the odds for error in play!
