I've been a couple of times, staying at Harrah's Grand Biloxi property. They were the one who had their casino boat lifted across the street during Katrina. They are currently operating out of their convention center, so the casino is small, but the hotel is nice. The people there are great. They have an awesome Nicklaus golf course called "Grand Bear"
I've gone to Beau Rivage to play a little. I found them a little "snooty' compared to the Grand. They are bigger, prettier, and have a better selection of games, but not great VP.
Those are the only two properties we visited while there.

Beau had quite a few machines, including a bank of progressives back by their poker room. although the DDB .25 is 8/5 the royal was over 1500 last week. also aces, and 2/3/4 quads all have their own progressives...

We've been to Biloxi twice with free air and room offers. The first time
was with Harrah's and we were not impressed. The casino is in what use to be
the lobby of the hotel or convention center.....Very few machines, and smoky. The food and the small
room were OK but I was not impressed....The second and third day of the trip I
visited every casino in the area via the shuttle bus. My hubby played some
golf.....I did like the Beau and the bank of machines mentioned above was
fun...I played there for several hours without too much of an investment....and we had
a wonderful meal in the buffet......About 6 months later we got an offer from
the Beau and decided to go back. We had a wonderful room overlooking the bay
and the food was exceptional....I had a lot more time to play in the casino and
loved the bank of machines mentioned above. I was dealt 4A's twice on a triple
play so came out ahead despite the lower pay table. I did go to the IP and played there a bit in the area
upstairs. They have a newer VP area which is upstairs and nice......We just got another free offer with the Beau and are going March 3. Fly in on a Fri. night,
Stay Sat. Sun. and home Mon.....We have a car rented and are going to go to New
Orleans for one day...to see the area and hit some antique shops...The way I
figure it free is free. If you don't like the casino rent a car, drive around,
enjoy the sea food and fresh air. It's not Vegas by a long shot but still fun
and relaxing....

Welcome to the forum. Two years this spring since we were in Biloxi but we prefer the IP for VP. The pay returns were the best we found at that time. Kids went a few months ago and they liked IP and Hard Rock but did best at Isle this time. You probably want to check VPfree to check the latest data (links below). You may want to check on Isle if you go there since the Isle Lake Charles just lowered their pay returns on VP in the last 10 days. Changes may not have been posted on VPfree yet if they changed.
But as kjohn said you can hit on even a low pay when you are "on".

Good luck.

I always stay at the Harrahs convention center cause its free for me. The gaming their blows. The beauge has nice games but the paytables are a joke but at least I've won their. The IP is suppose to be a nice place for poker. Only been once, walked in and hit quads twice in 5 minutes for $500 a piece and left. But overall and long term I think the isle has the best poker and variations.
edit to add the Hard Rock...
awesome casino but lord the VP will rob you blind, never had any luck an no progressives.
