February: Wheel Poker w/ Quick Quads

Post by Webman »

Dear VideoPoker.com members,
It's time for the February Contest featuring an exciting brand new
game called Wheel Poker with Quick Quads. Here's your
chance to play a GOLD member exclusive game for FREE before it hits
casino floors. This game combines the fun and excitement of two popular
game features. The fast-paced action of Quick Quads Poker –
with double the number of 4-of-a-kinds as a typical game – will have the
wheel spinning two and a half times more frequently than standard Wheel
Poker.
The Grand Prize winner will receive three nights at the
beautiful MGM Signature Condominiums in Vegas. Four runners up
will receive VideoPoker.com merchandise packages full of goodies. We’ll
also send packages to the top five that get the most wheel bonus points
in a contest session.
you're ready to enter.

Webman, I have no idea of the magic you used to have the game load instaneously but suffice to say, those of us on dial up are really, really happy.

Ditto, here!  Looks like the game is downloaded to the PC on the first session and then remains there so that all subsequent sessions start up right away.  Nice job!

Hi, Regarding Wheel Poker with Quick Quads, do you have to spin? I was dealt 4 Aces and a six, and wanted to throw away the six to try for a low kicker. I didn't want to mess with my four aces, so I left it alone and just spun. Anyone know if you can ignore the Spin feature? Thanks.

The Spin doesn't happen until a hand is completed. So you could have held just the four aces to draw for a kicker, and you would have gotten a wheel spin on each line either way after the draw (as long as you kept all 4 aces).

Is anyone else having trouble connecting to the contest game?  It was working great for me until yesterday.  Now it won't open at all.  I just have a blank green screen.  I can play all of the other non-contest games.

I had that issue last night. I refreshed the browser and it worked fine.
