Re: DDB+ and Aces Deuces
We have been to Laughlin several times and we really enjoy the change of pace from Vegas. We laughed our first time that in our 50's we were the youngsters. It is really "laid back"
Harrah's is up the hill from the rest of the casinos but there were some fairly good odds at some of the casinos especially down the hill. You might check out vpfree2 for the latest pay tables since its been two years since we were there.
We love the location with the casinos on the River. You can walk the entire route or take a water taxi. [Can't wait until Texas-San Antonio's River Walk has casinos-hope I won't be too old-maybe my grandkids will take me.] Arizona is across the river and the Laughlin/Bullhead (Az) Airport is across the river. The dam and lake are nice recreational areas as well if you rent a car.
Don't forget to try out the Golden Nugget's Saltgrass Steakhouse. Originated here in Texas and we've always enjoyed the atmosphere and steaks.
Give it a try if you want a real change of pace.
